Morning Yoga Ladies -

This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp Shoulders & Back and the Treadmill Cardio segment. This was the longest of the batch.....workout was 1 hour and 25 minutes and I burned 450 calories. I also did Baron Baptiste's Unlocking Athletic Power yoga.

Brooklyn was such a sweetie last night. Sure didn't take long for me to fall in love with the little precious thing. I was lying on my balls and had my body propped up sort of high and she snuggled up under my arm and rested her head right under my chin and was staring up at me! So cute.....I think she just won my heart! I'm so glad she's turning out to be so special, as Pandora was a very special girl also! Also, the vet visit yesterday........Brooklyn totally freaked out when I put her in the cat carrier. You wouldn't believe this little thing could scream, growl, hiss, etc like she did. I almost cried. She finally settled down though.

Yve - yes, got the email. I've got your package ready to go to the PO. I took jazz, modern dance, ballet and tap dance when I was younger....for about 7-8 years.

I've got a job interview later this morning and I want to try and do the grocery shopping before then.......so gotta run.

Have great workouts. I'll be back later.

Hi ladies! Sorry I missed posting yesterday. Didn't get home from work until 7:00 and with my WO and "dinner"...my night was done! x( I ended up just trying to learn Imax 3 yesterday. Just used the platform only and did the blasts on the floor. Still a real tough WO! I loved the music! I was really enjoying myself at first, but then had a really tough time with the choreography on step combos 6 and 7...it was tough to recover and feel like I got a good, sweaty WO after that one.

Hope to chat more later if I get home at a decent time tonight!

Jen

P.S. Lora-I love the name of your new kitty. Good luck with you interview today!

Yve -I forgot to mention....I got a Pilates Foam Roller workout. It's 40 minutes long and the instructor is Juliana Afram (I think she's British). I read about it on VF........and previewed it last night. I'm going to maybe try it later today.

Jen - Brooklyn's name is from Buckcherry's CD - 15. There is a song with that name and since all of my cats are named after a song or band, etc, we decided on Brooklyn. She already knows her name! I hope you don't have to work late anymore. That really stinks.

Well - I better go get ready for my interview. It's at the Youngstown Community Health Center.

Has anyone here ever done Yoga Burn with Rodney Yee?

Jen - I bought it a while ago, just never did it yet. Sorry to hear you didn't care for it........I hope I like it!

I just finished doing my Julie Afram Pilates Foam Roller workout. It was challenging but relaxing at the same time. I liked it. I may look into her Pilates miniball workout next from Amazon.

Have a great night ladies. I'm off to lie on my balls and see if Brooklyn wants to cuddle with me!

Lora-You are rockin' on the Barry's Bootcamp already! How long are you going to continue it-until you leave for vacation? Sounds like you and Brooklyn are bonding nicely. I know how I feel about going to the doctor-I wish I could hiss, scream and growl to get out of it! :) How was she once you finally got her to the vet? RE: Gay Gasper DVD, is the music vocal or instrumental? How did your interview go today?

Yve-I missed my WO today-just felt lazy. So, I too feel like a blob and to top it off, I have been eating crappy lately. If there's a postive, I have been motivated to drink more water than ever to flush all this evil food out! What did you end up deciding about your invitations? They sounded lovely! That's an ambitious project!

Have a great evening!

Jen

Hi Ladies,

This morning was Step Blast - 45 minutes with one round of the Challenge - no blasts.

Lora - Brooklyn sounds like a real sweetie. That is so cute that she snuggled up against your chin. Thank you so much for sending the oils. The roller workout sounds good - I will have to look into it. How was your interview?

Jen - You have been putting in very long hours - I can totally see why you would feel too tired to work out tonight...Water does help alot to flush out the system....so don't worry.
I ended up returning the greyish cards - and ordering a special paper on the internet. It is a seeded paper - made of natural fibers - in a cream colour. I also bought cream vellum paper - so - I will print on the vellum - glue it to the seed paper - and then also glue a pressed flower on top. The seed paper is a handmade paper - with flower petals and seeds in the fibers of the paper. The point of this style of invite - is that people would then take the invitation after they are finished with it - and plant it... and a wildflower/butterfly garden will grow. Making them has actually been quite fun. I was worried at first that they may look like a little kids art class project - but with the daintier paper - they turned out quite nice.

Have a good night.
Yve
