Morning Ladies - Yay....it's like Friday for me and hopefully some of you!!

This morning I did Fit Is It Elliptical with Candace. Workout was 52" and I burned 450 calories. My HR got up in the 160's on some of the intervals and I had a great workout. Thought my calorie burn would have been higher. I've always liked Sean better than Candace...but this is a good addition to my collection to get me using the Elliptical more often.
I dread the elliptical for some reason and never use it. I used to be like that with the bike until I found spinning.....don't really like machines, I guess? All of that being said, I actually enjoyed it somewhat.

Jen & Kel - of course I'm going to take the job offer cuz the economy is so bad right now and I don't have any other option, but I'll probably continue to look for a different job....but if I'm working, I can afford to be picky. I'd just hate to leave where I am for another job and end up losing my job to outsourcing/downsizing, etc. again...cuz if I stay where I am, it's probably until retirement.

Jen - glad your procedure is over. I hope it worked. Wow...a 6" needle .......do I even want to know where they stick it?? LOL! I'm excited cuz I got sore from that workout yesterday....mostly in the upper body. I wonder if you're Whole Foods store will be stocking the new scents from the update today...Wormwood Moon and the Atomic Luau Lounge scents. This is the first time I can't decide if I should order cuz the notes are so different. I wish you could sniff some for me and let me know what you think.

Kel - How are you feeling after getting back to your workouts? Did you get sore?

Hi to Yve and Carrie.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone -

Since I'm still starting back slowly, this morning, I just did the SJP All Step premix. It was just under 30 minutes long but I really worked up a good sweat anyway. I'm also a little sore from Total Body Sculpting yesterday so I think it's amazing what a difference just 3 weeks can make. So do y'all think LIC would be too much for my next one? I'll have time for a much longer workout so I thought that might be a good one. Next week, I think I'm just going to do some 45-50 minute workouts & then try to get back into BBC or 4DS by the next week.

Lora - I'm really sorry about your work situation. It would be very hard to work with people who purposely try to make it difficult for you. But I also think that you're making the right decision in accepting the permanent position & continuing to look for something better. The economy & job market are making things difficult everywhere. My company has been having layoffs in our outisde offices but they have finally caught up to the corporate office. So far, 4 people have been laid off & of course, all the rest of us are very worried too. I guess all I can say is try to hang in there & do your best to take the trouble-makers for what they're worth... & that's not much. Just remember that you don't deserve it & you are doing a good enough job that they offered you the permanent position so just try ignore them whenver possible. I know you still have to work for them but I think some of their snotty comments aren't even worth considering.

Jen - I'm so glad to hear that your procedure went well & things are a bit less stressful for you & your DH. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just make a decision & move forward. I'm with Lora, though, I don't even want to know what they did with that 6" needle! But I really hope it worked & I'll be waiting to hear how the test goes in 2 weeks too. Good job with your jog afterward & glad you're doing so well with your workouts. I'm looking forward to getting back to my regular workouts soon too...

Well, I better go for now. Hi to Carrie & Yve if you pop in later. I hope all is going well with you both & I hope everyone has a great day!

Kel - thanks for the advice. I will try not to let them get to me and do my best. I realize the economy is bad everywhere. We need a new President in office.....but I won't EVEN go there! LOL!!

Kel & Jen - Okay.....I can't believe how sore I got from that Next Challenge with Cindy Crawford.....and I'm thinking cuz most of the moves are "non traditional" weight moves, but different. Can you ladies think of any other older videos that are like that one?

Lora - First, I agree about needing a change in our country... but I also won't go any further with that either - LOL!;-) Next, about the old workouts... I find that Crunch Turbo Sculpt always gets me & it's less than 30 mins. long. I also like Donna D'Errico's Baywatch Power & Strength workout, the Navy Seal Stamina workout, & of course, my old Firms. Other than that, most of my workouts are newer... & Cathe.

Hi ladies! Posting late tonight! My WO was BBC Arms and Abs. I forgot how exhausting this series is. I will most certainly be sticking to 2 weeks only on this round-unless I just happen to get some really killer results.

Gotta get to bed-no day off for me tomorrow! Sorry for the lack of personals, especially with the two of you being so chatty today, but I will catch up later, I promise!

Have a great night everyone!
