Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Cardio Coach 1 on the Treadmill with one drill on the Ellipitcal. I then did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. Total cardio was 65 minutes with stretch and I burned 460 calories. I then did Power Squeeze lower body/abs and added on a couple other segments. I also did Peter Sterios' Gravity & Grace Yoga - 75".

Legs are toast .........and I'm supposed to do a total body tomorrow before I leave for Vegas! yikes.

Not sure if I like Peter Sterios or Gravity and Grace. It's a bit advanced for me and really long. I did most of the practice but left out some segments (arm balances/some super advanced poses). Not sure I care for him either. Not thrilled with this so far. :(

Yve - Yes, saw your comments about work/medical. Your vacation time sounds good there! My DH & I went to the casino in Montreal when we visited Montreal. We had fun. I never realized you have been thru so much in your life. Wow! A cancer survivor. No wonder you complained about the long wait time to see a specialist. It's sort of like that here in the States also. My DH called a specialist to get in and they were booking in mid May.....but referred him to someone that could take him sooner that they liked. You can usually get a CAT or any sort of scan done in a day or so if you go to one of the large hospitals in town. I never had to wait more than a week or so for a test. The doctor usually holds things up more. I also wasn't aware of the standard of care there. Thanks for that -- very interesting to learn about the country.

Jen - I love DVDs filmed on the beach also. I gravitate towards them.
I think my results are mainly from Squeeze/Fluidity/Lotte Berk and Bar Method I've been adding in. Not sure if it's just cuz it's a new technique or it really agrees with me.

Re: babies and age. My sister was 39 or 40 when she had her first child. Don't mean to scare anyone.......but both of her babie's were premature. Not sure if that is a related thing or not. She did have her son born with a hole in his heart also but just recently got told that it is pretty much healed now. I won't go into anymore detail unless you ladies really want to know. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, but everyone's different. Good luck to both of you with having children. My biological clock never went "off".....only want kids with four legs and fur in this house!! LOL.

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was CIA Cardio-Camp followed by 10 min Solution Kickbox Arm Sculpt and Washboard Abs segments. I thought Cardio Camp was pretty good and would probably like it even better the second time around. Kimberly cues very well....and I heard her...but my brain could not proces it fast enough! :) Despite that, I was able to follow most of the workout and kept my heart rate up. It took me awhile to get sweaty with this one, but once I did, there was no going back! I am on the fence about this being a must have...still thinking it's a rental, but an excellent one at that.

Lora-I still have not tried Fat Blaster! I previewed it and it seemed pretty darn fast. That is interesting that you attribute your definition to Lotte Berk and Bar Method. I have those in my Netflix queue. I think I'll work them in for my next lower body rotation. Is there any weight work in them or are they mostly ballet leg lift kinda' endurance stuff?

Yve-DH & I have been trying since the surgery, but not really focusing on it as much now. I was keeping a calendar and tracking potential ovulation days using a computer program. DH & I have never had bedroom problems before but he felt like even that little bit was making a science project out of it and gave him performance issues. We went through a really tough couple of months because of course trouble in the bedroom filters out into everything else about the relationship. I feel like there should be at least some planning involved, because we need all the help we can get. He just wants to leave it to fate and chance. We are still at odds about it, but what can I do-I can't force the issue because that makes it worse and so I just have to leave it to fate, too. We are in a better place now (although I am obviously still a little miffed about the whole thing.....breathe Jen.....relax......). Anywho-the doctor said it would be a year plus for us because after a vasectomy, the man's body creates sperm antibodies that destroy the sperm. He is still creating them, but the body destroys them. Once the reversal is done, even though the channel is clear of scar tissue & reconnected, it takes awhile for the body to stop producing sperm antibodies. And at his age, sperm count is way, way down anyway-thus the slim chance of things happening. There is a TTC thread started in the Pregnancy & Postpartum Cathe forum that talks about things to do-mucus charting, taking your temp, etc. I am not posting there, but I occasionally lurk to look at what they are trying from time to time.

Have a great night ladies!

Jen - I felt that way the first time I did Cardio Camp. As a matter of fact, I didn't do it for quite a while and then picked it up one day and liked it much better. I'm not used to lifting realy heavy weights with my legs. If you're legs are extremely strong, you might not find Lotte Berk/Fluidity/Bar Method or Squeeze hard. On the other hand, I remember you saying that the small amount of ballet in Yoga Booty Ballet taxed your muscles, so who knows. If you do the Lotte's - the best way to do them are all the blasts that are the High Intensity 10" Blasts on each DVD as a special segment. Bar Method ....same thing. Otherwise, if you just do the half hour session, you could always repeat segments to make it like another set of exercises. The workouts have a learning curve. The more you learn form and the better you realize how you're moving and what you're working, the more you'll feel it. I feel it more each time. A couple of my favorite moves are when you stand in plie on your tip-toes with a ball between your thighs and squeeze the ball with your legs - real hard and then plie pulse down and up and hold down and squeeze and come up and hold and squeeze, etc. It's killer burn! Then they do glute squeezes seated with legs at 90 degree angles folded back and you pulse your back knee off the floor and squeeze your glutes hard and then squeeze up and back, etc. She really gets in there and burns you out in the Squeeze DVD. They are all similar methods, but from what I've tried, IBallet's, Squeeze and Fluidity Advanced are the hardest.

I didn't realize you wanted a baby so bad Jen. I hope things work out for you.

I just finished a 20" Classical Stretch session for Pain Relief. It was for myofacial pain and it was pretty good. I also rolled my body out on the foam roller. Brooklyn watched and attacked my feet!

Tyler, my oldest cat went to the vet today, as he's sick. We had to sedate him prior to his visit, as he turns into a severe attack cat at the Vet. When we got him there, he was still too vicious and they had to gas him to treat him. They drew blood and we'll have the results tomorrow. We are worried, as we're leaving town Saturday. He came home falling all over and growling and hissing at us and brooklyn doesn't know what to think.. Little does she know, she's next!

Take care ladies...........I have to go try to relax and get "tired". Still not been able to sleep! Calms Forte didn't even work last night. I just took 4 a while ago and I'm wired. Maybe I need a couple more! Geez.
