Not sure if anyone's gonna be around today...but posting anyway -

Morning Ladies,

This morning I did Mindy Myrlea's Super Cycle. This was really hard for me and my legs felt like lead. Workout was 66" and I burned 603 calories. I then did 10 Minute Solutions - Pilates Slim & Sculpt with the band - Ab segment and stretch segments 20" and finished off with AM Yoga with Barb Benagh - Awaken the Spine segment 35".

My body is toast and I have no idea how I'm supposed to do that M&F workout tomorrow..........hopefully, I'll feel better in the morning. Off to get my bath and then it's Sunday morning job searching.

Have a great day everyone.

Lora - hope you feel better soon! Not fun to feel worn out! Spinning is a great workout, isn't it? Happy birthday to your DH! Hope it's a merry one!

I have my half marathon today. I'm excited and nervous - I know I can do it, but I also know it will HURT! Oh well, I'll feel so wonderful when it's done.

Enjoy everyone!

Hi Ladies,

Finally starting to feel better. It was a rotten cold.

Missed working out both today and yesterday - but hope to catch up thru the week.

Lora - That was an incredible workout. Did you end up buying alot of Alchemy oils?

Christine - Good luck on your half marathon today.

Hi to Jen and Kel.

Have a nice evening ladies.

Yve

Hi ladies! Tonight was a leg workout but I took a break from the Ripped series to try a new workout. Tonight's WO was The Firm Lower Body Sculpt I, Fast & Firm Series. I followed it with 100 squats using a 9 lb body bar and 100 glute squeezes. I then went for a 20 min walk/jog. The Firm workout came from Netflix and I enjoyed it alot! It was slow enough that I could use heavier weights-I was sweating big time with this one! I also received Crunch Total Resculpt with Kendall Hogan and it looks good. I almost added it on to my leg workout today, but after the walk they felt like they were done for the day.

Christine-Congrats on your run today! How'd it go? I hope you had wonderful weather for it!

Yve-So glad you are finally feeling better! :)

Lora-How did you like Pilates Slim & Sculpt? Was it more advanced like you thought it would be? I have that one in my Netflix queue.

Have a great night everyone!

Yve - So glad you're feeling better! That rotten cold is sure making the rounds!!!

Jennifer - Glad you had a good lower body workout! Sounds like a killer - especially now!

Well, I survived the half. Beat my old time by 5 minutes, so I can't complain! It was tough as my reoccuring blister was back with a vengence around mile 8, So I had to work around that, but I did it! It was a nice day, gorgeous, actually, and the route is pretty flat (except for some underpasses, and those aren't too bad. Bands every mile or so and cheer squads in between, so there was always something to listen to and watch. I just love seeing the mix of runners. There was a guy who came in about the same time I did who had a shirt that said, "I may be Fat, but I'm in front of you" I ran behind him for a while and got to chuckle. As we run through some residential areas, we had a great amount of amatuer talent - including a guitarist who could not have been more than 5. He was adorable, and actually, not bad at alL! Amazingly enough! Well, it's off to watch the Pats, so I'd better run! Enjoy!
