Morning Ladies -

This morning I started out doing Tracey's Kickbox Challenge 20" and then I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. I did the high intensity intervals on the Rebounder and repeated the last blast for a 53" workout and burned 365 calories. I then did Lotte Berk Bonus Blast from Essentials 10" and Yoga to Go - Yoga on the Yuba River #4 55". I was happy doing the intervals on the Rebounder, as I got my HR up to 166 and was doing flying jacks, tuck jumps, etc to really kick up the intensity. That's why I quit the Tracey Kickbox, cuz my HR was staying steady state and I didn't want to do another low intensity workout today.

Have great workouts or rest days everyone. The Rob Zombie move, Halloween, yesterday was very good. My DH thought it was a bit brutal and bloody....but we thought it was well done. It actually was the story of what made Michael Myers psychotic and followed him from a 10 year old boy and the story ended where the Halloween's first started. I thought it was sort of cool.

Jen - meant to ask how Lenny did with his treatment this time? Which Jillian Michaels DVD did you get? I actually like her Beginners ones better (and just up the intensity) cuz she moves slower and you can go heavier. Those are what got me interested in doing her book circuits, cuz the book is harder than the DVDs. I actually find her Advanced ones move too quickly to go heavy enough to get a good enough weight workout so I don't use them that often. Her personality is okay. I like her cuz she creates good workouts.

Better run.......I've got to go rinse colour out of my hair. Be back later.

Forgot to mention: I've got an extra Yuba River - YOga to Go Practice with Nancy Sutton. The DVD gives me an error code in my player sometimes and other times it works. Nancy sent me a new one....so I have this extra one and I tried it again and it worked. If someone here doesn't have a touchy DVD player and wants a 45" Hatha Restorative yoga practice done on the gorgeous Yuba River in California with Nancy Sutton, let me know and I'll send it to you.

Morning, ladies! Off to breakfast with DH and my usual grocery store run. Not sure what is on tap for today. Maybe another long walk, since I don't get to get in much of that during the week and the weather is so wonderful! I'll have to see what is going on with my hip and whether or not it will cooperate.

Have a great day everyone! I will BBL!

Hi ladies! Back again! I walked for 30 minutes with DH today, which was nice! :) My shoe rubbed my ankle pretty badly and I found out when I got home that I had been bleeding. :( I still wanted to continue working out, but knew I needed to give my ankles a break and find a workout without shoes. I chose Pick your Level Pilates and followed it with Sara Ivanhoe 20 min Yoga Makeover-Weight Loss. I really liked this 20 minute workout. I had not done that DVD before, even though I had bought it some time ago. It was just enough to feel like a complete practice. The only thing missing was a good relaxation-wish they had included it as a bonus segment or something.

Lora-I think the Jillian DVD I received was Full Frontal. I also received Back in Action but the sleeve contained the wrong DVD inside so Netflix will have to ship out a new one. That's a nice workout you had this morning. I am surprised that a kickboxing workout couldn't keep you heart rate where you wanted it to be. You are in really great shape! What level of kickboxing is it? I really like kickboxing and will see if Tracey's website has a clip.

Have a great night everyone! :)

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday - was out the entire day doing errands and all kinds of running around. - Today was a long day also.. I did manage to get to pilates class though - which I am glad.

Still not feeling so well - Just really bad headaches and now my throat and ear are really sore. Anyhow - tomorrow is another day.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.. will catch up tomorrow.

Good night.

Yve
