Trying to Fit Yoga in for Sat April 14

Wasn't sure if I should post here or not. Everyone seems to have fallen off radar, but I'll remain consistent and post anyway.

This morning I did a little bit of Tracey's Kickbox Sweatfest & Hi/Lo Sweatfest for a total of 45 minutes and burned 290 calories. I also did Slim Series Cool it Off Express 30". I liked Cool it Off X....felt good. My body is beat....but no rest until next Saturday when we leave for Vegas!!

I got Slim Series Express last week but they won't actually be released from Beachbody until the end of the month. A bunch of us at VF ordered from a link someone posted. They were in computer school and somehow got in Beachbody's backdoor to the website and found them. When BB caught on, they stopped it. It's only a set of 4 DVDs and they are a half hour each. Made to compliment the Slim Series original series.

I liked the Kickbox except I can see where some have said it's rather repetitive. You don't need to think a lot. Didn't really do enough to comment further, but I didn't think the double timed moves were too quick like others stated.

The Hi/Lo was a bit hard to follow. No breakdown and I'll need to do it a few times to learn it, but it was fun. I could probably make it more intense after I learn it also. They have someone do the low version and the high version.

Have great workouts or rest days. I have an early dental appointment and then it's the usual Saturday routine. We're going to see Slow Burn with Ray Liota. Looks good. I'm expecting a BPAL package, but not sure if it's my Milk Moon/Monster Baits order or something else. We shall see.

Jen- Are they working you too hard?? I hope you enjoy your weekend. My Squeeze DVD came and it looks good. I'm probably going to try some of it tomorrow.

Yve - same with you. I hope you can relax a bit this weekend and take a breather from all of the wedding planning. Heck, why not splurge and treat yourself to a new DVD.

Hi Ladies,

I did not work out today or yesterday.

Yesterday SO and I went to see a place. There is a neighbourhood that I would really love to live in. It is a pocket where generally people without kids or people that are semi-retired tend to live. There are parks and a golf course nearby - and just a very quiet pocket of homes. The home that we saw last night was in this neighbourhood. I don't know why I allowed myself to do this - but I really got my hopes up bc I love the neighbourhood so. The outside of the home was so quaint - but the inside requires alot of work. Our intentions right now are to rent for a year or two - let the market settle down - and then buy. The home on the inside is soooo outdated - that it isn't worth renting - and to buy it - it would require a major overhaul.
I am starting to get quite bummed - as it is such a big decision - and we are running out of time.
I took my girls for their fitting today. My bridesmaids are all quite young - I guess I was overwhelmed yesterday when I was leaving my messages to their parents - I accidentally told someone to go to #2500 rather than #2005.... I feel like a real spinny airhead!! What can I do? I can only say I am sorry for such a stupid mistake!

Lora - Oooohhhhh!!! I want - absolutely WANT that Anusara DVD!!!!! How you tempt me soooooo!!!!! The yoga instructor that got me really loving yoga - told me about her experience with Anusara - it is all about opening up the heart - and helping to settle emotions - I actually have to thank you for tempting me with this one - because I would really love to have it! Do you have this one?

Jen - Hope you are well - and that you are having a good weekend. I hope that you aren't at the office today!

Meg - How was your day.

Have a nice evening ladies.

Yve
