Morning Yogini's -

I ended up doing Barry's Arms & Abs weighted section and then I did all but 4-5 minutes of the Treadmill Cardio portion, as I knew it was only about 15-17 total and this is the one he does the Pullups on the treadmill and the drills with the TM shut off, pushing the grocery cart and then running backwards and walking plyo lunges on the treadmill. I then went upstairs and did the Non-treadmill cardio portion 20" plus I added a cool down and 10 minute stretch from a DVD. Workout was about 1 hour 25 minutes and I burned 440 calories. I also did Ravi & Ana's Dancin' the Chakra's - Chakra yoga practice only (30").

I also did some of Shiva's Trance Dance last night. Jen - did you say you have this one? I can't remember. What do you think of it?

Now I remember why I didn't do Barry's every day when I did it and put a day of regular cardio in between them..........too many plyos or running to do daily and in the non-treadmill cardio he does mountain climbers, burpees, etc, and that coupled with all of the pushups in this series, will total kill my shoulders! Must rethink my rotation.

Jen - re: the pictures - mine were from an online site, so I just right clicked on the picture and went to the part where you view properties or view info (or something like that - it's down towards the bottom when you right click) and found the title of the picture and posted it. Sounds like you have another busy day planned. Too bad you can't relax more on your mini vacation.

Yve - don't forget to email me your address or you can send me a personal message on the Forum. What colours do you like for decorating purposes? Do you have an idea of what style you like? I hope all my babbling was of some help yesterday.

I'll be around for a bit. Off to job search online.

Well...........we've got a new 11 week old kitten. We weren't really planning on it but we went and looked at Petland and they had kittens and this one was special. She doesn't have a name yet. We still miss Pandora very much, but the new one's do keep your mind occupied and I always do better when my mind is occupied since it's always going a mile a minute. We might call her Brooklyn but it's not decided yet. She is sure quite spunky. Playing with every toy in the house. The other cats don't know what to think.....but I'm sure they'll adapt....they always do. She has an incision in her belly with stitches from being spayed and you'd never know it by the way she's running around.

Hi ladies! Quick post...as I am supposed to be out in the living room spending quality time w/ DH watching Galaxy Quest! Tonight's WO was GS Shoulders and GS Legs. I always split the GS Legs and do standing and floorwork on different days. Deb's rotation called for the whole kit and kaboodle today...I did it, but BARELY made it!

Lora-Great news about the kitten! Your colors and your place sound awesome! I still couldn't get the picture of the cake to come up. I may just have to add it to my Picture trail I have been working on. Yep, I do have Yoga Trance Dance-I have previewed it but never physically done it. I liked the music so I have the CD, too. I guess I sorta liked the Goddess Abs from YBB for a change, but I still can't see doing it that often...I think it is more challenging than the Sara Ivanhoe 20 min yoga abs, but still not as challenging as what I really need at this point.

Yve-It sounds like you have a really good decorating instinct...I bet you put colors together beautifully. Can't wait to hear what decorating ideas you come up with!

Have a great night!

Jen

Hi Ladies,

Tonight was restorative yoga night.

Lora - Yes - I will most definately send you an email. That is great news about the kitten - she sounds like a cutey. Your decorating tips and ideas really did help alot. For my room - I am thinking of a comforter with aqua blue/grey tones.... so what would you paint the wall - would you go with a smoky grey tone - or would you go a lighter blue grey?

Jen - I don't know about me having a decorating instinct...sometimes I am quite challenged in the creativity dept!!! Today I went to the craft store (Michaels - not sure if you have it in the US). I bought a greyish card stock - bc I wanted to make my own invitations. For this card stock - I bought these little pressed flowers - the idea being that I would glue a little flower at the top of each invite....I thought that given the colours (the card being grey and the flowers a purple pansy with yellow swirls and also dark pink daisies )- it would look nice.... The card was too heavy - and the edges too straight - it looked too harsh for the little flowers...A softer - hand-made paper would have looked nice.... only I never thought of it until I went to the trouble of printing - then gluing...Oh well - i could always return this stuff and start over. It sure was fun trying though :)

Have a nice evening.
