Trying To Fit Yoga in For Monday June 25

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Jillian's Frontside Circuit. I added ankle weights and a 12 pound DB for abs. I used Cathe's BodyMax 2 stretch for the stretch. Circuit with stretch was 1 hour and I burned about 300 calories. I also added on The Firm Core Solutions - Functional Core abs 10". Last night I did Hemalaya Behl's Evening Bath yoga routine.

Speaking of The Firm - that new firm instructor I said is ripped is a Fitness Competitor. She is the most ripped Firm instructor I've ever seen. Very inspiring.

Have a great day ladies -- I'm off to eat breakfast and then I have to clean. I'd like to get a bit more cardio in sometime today, but usually if it doesn't get done in the morning, I don't do it. Maybe the cleaning will burn some calories???
 
Hi ladies,

Had another busy & work-filled weekend but I also found some time to relax at the pool yesterday too. So it ended up being a nice, well rounded weekend in the end. This morning, I did IMAX 3 & I'm finding that I'm enjoying that workout more each time I do it. This is the week that I'm planning a more cardio based rotation since I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning & I'll be able to spend some extra time working out. I think I'm going to do the BootCamp/ME bonus combo & double up all of the cardio portions. I've only had the time to do that bonus combo one time before & I really liked it so I'm looking forward to finally having a chance to do it again.

Lora - I saw your post about having the house ready to list. Wow, you sure made short work of that one. Good job! Okay, so the Jillian workouts you're doing are not the first set she came out with, right? That's the only set I own & I did them for awhile... until I found Cathe... & now I'm afraid I won't like them anymore. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try them out again & see how it goes. Hope you get more cardio in but I totally understand about doing it in the morning. That's why I workout first thing too... or else I won't do it at all.

Jen - Hope you had a nice weekend. I'm looking forward to hearing about your workouts for this week too. Like I said last week & above, I'm trying a more cardio based rotation for this week only so I'll let you know how it goes & if it makes any difference.

Kel - no - the Jillian workouts are her second set for beginners, but she gives advanced tips and I know how to make them advanced anyway. They are good. They are longer than her first set -- thus the reason I bought them. They got voted best back to basics in Fitness mag a while back. The back one is 55" and the front one is 47" and there is no w/u or c/d so they come in right around an hour. They also have no music - so you can jam you're own. I was feeling sore this morning and almost didn't want to lift again today. I've been going real heavy with the weights since she only does 10 reps. ....another reason I like them. They also move a bit slower than her first set -- which is good cuz I can lift heavier. I find I have a hard time lifting heavy with her first set. I plan on doing her first set for a couple weeks also, but I'll probably do both Front and Back in one day since they are only a half hour.
 
Hi ladies! I had a really tough workout day today. I was motivated, since I had not worked out since Thursday, but I had no energy. I attempted to do High Step Challenge and I only made it to the 27 minute mark and had to stop. I tried putting in a lower intensity workout to no avail. My body was just not having it. x( DH and I went to bed fussing last night and neither of us had dinner. I think I probably did not have enough calories in the past 24 hours to fuel anything.

Anyone doing the Cathe preorder? I am actually showing some restraint and did not order today, but I plan to at some point. I am excited to see what the blog looks like for this workout...I really enjoyed it when she updated it last time.

Lora-That is interesting about The Firm instructor being a fitness competitor. I didn't purchase anything yet, but I am still thinking about them all the time....it's killing me. ;) I'll pm you my address, thanks again!

Kel-Sounds like you got in a little relaxation between your killer workouts!!!! ;) I will be interested to see your results from the cardio. Do you weigh yourself or take measurements on a regular basis?

Well...off to eat dinner, since that is all I am good for tonight. :p
