Morning Ladies -
This morning I did Jillian's Frontside Circuit and then I added on The Firm - Core Solution - Traditional Abs 10" and Lotte Berk Essentials Blast 10" and for the stretch, I used Cathe's LIC. I left my HRM running thru the abs, Lotte and Stretch. Workout was 1 hour 20" and I burned 420 calories (around 320 at the end of the Circuit). I used my 20# DB's for chest flyes and 25# DB's for chest presses, 10 & 12# DBs for triceps, 8#'s for anterior shoulder raises and 10-12#'s for medial delt raises. I added my ankle weights and 12# DBs for abs and I FINALLY did planks with 8 pounds on my back. I hope my shoulders don't rebel from the weighted planks. This is the first time I've used weight during planks. I also did Ravi & Ana's Fat Free Yoga- Start Your Engines segment.
I rec'd my Kundalini DVD "Detox & Destress" with Maya Fiennes and previewed it. I don't know how often I'll end up using it, as it's 60" long and it isn't really able to be broken up like most Ravi & Ana DVDs. Kundalini yoga is weird enough and something about the lady that leads it freaks me out a bit. Not sure if I just need to get used to her or what. For now, I still favor Ravi & Ana's practices...due to the fact you can do most of them in segments.
Jen - What rotation did you decide on? Circuits? I need to start thinking of my next rotation. After I finish up these Jillian circits, I'll do another functional fitness week and then I have no idea what to do. If you're interested - BPAL has a Lunar Update. Red Moon is back. It was one of the first Moon's to be released and it was and has been extremely popular. Red Moon is a very unique scent. It is sort of a warm, slightly resiny, slightly floral scent with a bit of Dragon's Blood. Nothing is overdone in Red Moon. It's pretty balanced... not too heavy on the Dragon's Blood, Marigold, etc.....thus if you didn't like one particular aspect of the scent....you'd probably still like it since it's so evenly blended. Don't know how else to describe it. I'm pretty sure it could also be a good unisex scent. You can check out reviews on BPAL if it sounds interesting.
Kel - yes, bananas surprised me. I knew about dried fruit being higher in sugar, but bananas?? Anyway, it's going to be hard for me to limit my fruit to 2 servings a day. I already was a bad girl and bought Bing Cherries at the grocery store yesterday. Love those! Wow - that's a lot of rental properties. I'd have guessed it was a bit more stressful thatn you make it sound. Good for you having a profitable business like that.
Have a great day ladies.
