Trying to Fit Yoga in for Friday July 13

Morning Yogini's -

This morning I did my Jillian Frontside Book Circuit followed by Kung Fu Kickbox The Kicker segment. I backed off intensity just a bit due to being under the weather. Workout was 1 hour and 11 minutes and I burned 400 calories. I also did Yoga for Stress Prevention 35".

I can't stop doing this Kickbox DVD. I actually put in a Gliding DVD, as I know I have to change things up....but since I don't feel good, I didn't want to force myself to do something I wasn't into.

Not really too impressed with this yoga DVD. It's just okay. It has 2 35" practices on it. I really need to do a good 60-90 minute yoga DVD to get a really good stretch! I haven't done that in a while. Maybe next week. Haven't had time on the weekends, as my DH likes to go to the earliest matinee there is and in the Summer, some of them are at 10:00 am.

Jen - How come your legs got so sore from Butts and Gutts? How often do you work your legs? I don't remember getting that sore from it. I meant to say.....I love Firewalkers. I find myself adding them on to other workouts now! They are fun. Check out Spri.com and you can see what the rings look like, but when you actually buy them, go to a place like Amazon and search for them, as they are much cheaper on there. I can't remember the exact place I got mine....but it was either FWonline.com or Amazon. It is so much easier than having to tie a band up in the middle of the workout.

Kel - I hope your arm is slightly better today.

Hi ladies! I am still recovering today, but my legs are feeling much better than yesterday! I have my weigh in today....no idea what to expect. I am supposed to be going to a BBQ tomorrow. My aunt is having it and she really wants me to be there. I haven't decided what to do because my uncle is going to be there. He treated my mom very badly a few times while she was sick. I haven't seen him for a couple of years now and my life has been better for it. I don't wish him any harm....just don't care to see him ever again. You can't even have a conversation with him. He just exaggerates or is in complete denial about everything. His behavior has split our family apart in a way that has never been before. Half of them want to forgive and forget and go on with it (mostly his brothers and sisters) the other half (the grandchildren) cannot forgive and forget and don't want to see him anymore.

Lora-I probably don't work legs like I need to. Not sure why they got so sore this time. I guess this workout had some really different exercises and pacing in it-enough to really create a challenge. I don't get sore anymore from L & G or S & H Legs, just very fatigued. It's probably just that B & G was a good "switch it up" to get a reaction workout. I can't believe the great workouts you are getting considering you are sick! You are so dedicated! I hope you feel better today.

Kel-How is your arm? Hope you are doing better and you enjoy the golf tournament this weekend.
