Morning Ladies -
This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp Full Body workout followed by Fluidity Beginners and 30" of CIA - Kim Spreen - Absolute Kickboxing. I also did Ana & Ravi's Beginners & Beyond - Rise and Spine yoga. Workout was around 2 hours and 10 minutes and I burned 520 calories.
Today's workout was tough to get thru after doing Barry's every day this week. My shoulders can't take all of these tons of pushups, mountain climbers, squat thrusts, etc. day in and day out - even though this is the way they recommend to do them. I think I will separate the days with a day of cardio in between next week. My body is beat!! I have to take a rest day tomorrow, as I have an early eye appt.
I loved..loved this Kimberly Spreen workout. It has a combat secgment that uses the body bar and it was so much fun.....only you have to watch you don't smack yourself in the shin on the down blocks with the bar like I did when I got carried away. The music in this is EXCELLENT again. This is probably a "sin" to say on here....but I think the music in most of these new CIA's is even better than Cathe's.....at least her last series. It is again reminiscent of Old Tae Bo Live music. Lots of vocals and funky stuff. I think I'm really going to like this set for that reason. I always have liked CIA's music, but this set takes it up a couple notches! Maybe next time Greg produces an Amy video, they can use similar music.....and that would be great.
I was not excited about the interview at all. I'm not sure I'd even want the job. The hours aren't set...as they see indigent patients and are open 10 hours straight. They may even have to work Saturdays in the future. There are other things I didn't like either....but if my unemployment was going to run out and I HAD to take a job......I suppose that would be a different story....however, I don't need to do that just yet.
Jen - Imax 3 is my favorite Cathe workout! Love the coreography and music in that one. It's fun once you learn it. I'm going to do Barry's until I get sick of it.....for sure up until vacation. Brooklyn did calm down once she was in the cat carrier, but it was the initial "being caged" part that freaked her....I think. The Gay Gasper DVD has lots of vocal music in it. Have you ever heard the music on the old Tae Bo Lives? It sort of reminds me of that. Vocals and music with a funky beat.
Yve - I love the idea for your invitations. It was invitations your talking about??
Have a great day.
