Cathlete
Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Steve Cotter's Extreme KB - Cardio KB Circuit and Cardio KB followed by Abs and Core and Goddess stretch. Workout was 70" and I burned 463 calories. This was not as hard as the KB beach workout with Keith Weber which is still my fave. My HR only stayed low to moderate and it wasn't that tough....however, I only used my 15-20 lb KB's mostly and only used the 25 once. This had a lot of Windmills, Turkish Get Up's and squats with arm locked overhead ....all of which require me to use lighter weights due to shoulder issues.

I'm going to have to stop wearing my HRM for KB workouts, as the KB's clank on the monitor and I'm afraid it's going to break it and I don't have money for another one.

I'm so freakin tired this week. Must try to get to bed earlier. I've only been getting 4 hours and 15" sleep a night for a long time now. It's starting to "get" me.....but it's also TTOTM...so I'm sure that's not helping. I was actually falling asleep driving to work yesterday and almost went off the road 5 times! I know I'm not doing my body any good....but it's hard to find time to do everything when I get home from work. Still adjusting to this working full time stuff...I guess.

Carrie - You're advice on the food is the way I usually handle eating desserts....either I share one with the DH or when he's not around, I take 2 bites and pitch it....but if I do that in front of him - he has a fit! If I would go get those pancakes with the DH....I doubt I could do that after he paid for them! He'd go nuts. I sort of had a bit of a "bad eating" day at work yesterday. I started TTOTM and I was famished and craving chocolate....so I had some Snow Caps, chocolaate covered peanuts, a few Reisen's and then later, I had a small bag of Doritos so I could take an Advil for cramps and I NEVER eat that sort of thing. I was disgusted with myself.

Jen - Fat Burn Pilates? Is that the Ellen Barrett workout you're referring to? I haven't done that in ages. I've been trying to decide if I should purchase her latest Slim Sculpt DVD. Have you seen it yet? I just ordered the new Yogini one off of her Buff Girl Fitness website cuz it says it's the "toughest" of all of her studio classes and has a bit of yoga thrown in it. Have not idea what to expect...but I'll keep you posted. You've also got me curious about your IVF and how you would go about converting and becoming the biological parents. I'm sort of ignorant to the subject. If you don't want to explain...you don't have to. (so you would never consider wearing a blue on your fingers?? I wear blue and green all of the time.........I'm sort of "known" for it)

Kel - So glad to hear that you are feeling much better. I must be a bigger wimp than you!

Yve - how are you doing?

Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies! No WO for me tonight since it's my rest day.

Lora-Yes, it's the Crunch Fat Burning Pilates one. I did the cardio portion only. It's not one of my favorites, but I am really trying to keep the intensity low this week. OMG about your lack of sleep! Please be careful out there! So scary that you are so tired that you almost ran off the road. Yikes! I will explain the IVF stuff over the weekend in more detail-I don't mind at all. I can see how it doesn't make sense without more detail. Just didn't want to bore anyone with it by going on and on about it. I sure didn't know much walking in their office, but I have learned so much since then. Re: the polish-I would consider wearing blue if I thought it would look good, but for some reason I don't like any color at all on my fingernails. My fingers are sort of short, and it seems like polish on them makes them look even shorter, if that makes sense.

Have a great night everyone! I may be back again after dinner.
