....Trying to Fit in Yoga for Monday, April 23rd...

Hi ladies! My time to chat is limited tonight since I got home late (again!!!) but I at least wanted to keep the thread going in Lora's absence in case anyone wants to post.

Tonight's WO was supposed to be LowMax, but I really needed Chalene's energy tonight, so I ended up doing Turbo Jam Cardio Party # 1. I followed it with Lower Body Jam to make up for the lower body blasts I missed from LowMax. I ate really well today and my energy was better. I am trying to eat smaller meals every 3 hours and right at my workout time, I was due for another meal (which I put off), so I was pretty hungry afterward. I think I literally ate my dinner in 5 minutes.

Off to bed! I hope you all had great days and great WOs! Yve, if you post later I will check on it in the morning!

Hi Ladies,

Tonight's workout was Power Hour.

Jen - A big part of the appeal of yoga for me is the fact that I can forget about every other stressful thing going on - this teacher that I used to have is responsible for getting me hooked. She closed her studio bc her landlord decided to jack up the rent to an exorbitant amount. Her studio was in an older area in Toronto which is now an up and coming trendy area. There are many new artsy type lofts and condos going up - as well as many new stores contributing to the appeal. As a result - it has transformed from what was an area that was not very expensive a few years ago - to an area that is getting pricier. I think you are right - many would rather take yoga at a gym than at a studio. My opinion though is that they won't get the same benefit from doing so. Did you ever take the Bikram class?

SO and I aren't the screaming shouting type either - and yes - it is funny how some just seem to thrive on it. I always go back to the same opinion -in that once something has been said - in anger or other wise - it can never be un-said. SO is very good at walking away in moments of anger... something that I am still practicing ;-)

Have a great night.... and hope that tomorrow is not as long of a day.

Yve
