I just finished doing Circuit Max (love that video!), and during the "plunge lunge" step segment, I noticed how Cathe was just about kicking herself in the butt with the foot of her plunging leg!!! And then I noticed that MY plunging foot was barely coming off the step. From that point on, (which luckily was already pretty close to the end of the tape!), I tried to do everything just like Cathe. Ever notice how her knees are ALWAYS high?? Her kicks are ALWAYS way up there? On her static lunges, her back knee almost "grazes the floor" every time? On the hi/lo segment "2 knees, knee up & over" business, her arms are way up high instead of floundering around at shoulder level like mine. Heck, she's kicking herself in the butt even on the ol' "heel-toe-diagonal hop" over the board thing!!! I usually never pay attention to these "non-essential details" of many of Cathe's moves. If I can just "get thru her workouts", I'm happy. But I think I'll try to kick myself in the butt (use more of a full ROM) from now on!! Anyone else have any other "do it like Cathe" details you'd care to share?? If not, just ignore me, I'm feeling kinda silly on a quiet Saturday morning.
