Trouble finding jeans that fit?

A girlfriend of mine sent me a link to this website: www.zafu.com. We both have the too big in the waist, too small in the hips problem when it comes to shopping for jeans. Anyways, this website helps you find the perfect jean. I haven't tried on any of the jeans it suggested, but thought I'd share it with you all. It would be curious to know if their recommendations really work.

Terri,
I have a hard time finding jeans that fit right, too. I checked out the site. I'm also curious if their recommendations are accurate. They'd be great if they were!

Terri.
The only jeans that fit me, with your same problems, are Old Navy Traditonal cuty and Liz Claiborne regular cut short. Sometimes, Lee Casual Ryders work too.

Have fun trying on jeans!!

I have the same problem, to big in the waist. I wear men's jeans. Levis Size 28X30 are a great fit. They sit on the hips instead of the waist and a very comfy! (I don't wear tight jeans, or the new skinny jeans)

I am going to check this out I have to wear a belt with every pair I own. Aeropastle, Pac Sun, Old Navy and Tommy. Thank YOU!

Well I have the opposite problem. Jeans are too big in the waist and hips and too tight around the legs. So I end up with inseam marks along legs and a thick gap in the back for everyone to see down, unless I wear a belt. Some of my jeans are so tight in the leg that I can't walk too fast in them...running? Out of question.

I discovered my perfect jeans a few years ago and I still love them. I buy the Long and Lean Stretch jeans at the Gap. :)

Hey Adina, I glanced at your pictures and seems like you have a similar body type to mine-all jeans are huge in my waist then tight in the butt/thigh area. Is this the problem you had before finding the long & lean at gap? If so, I will have to give them a try, I've almost just gave up on jeans, can't wear 'em to work anyway!! LOL.

By the way, your bunny & kitty are so cute-do they really get along? Are rabbits really good pets, do they take a lot of time with cleaning, feeding, etc... I have one cat, I think soon to have two if the lady i'm taking him from doesn't change her mind (DH says he has to go due to allergies, she is so upset so we'll see). I am an animal lover though and have always found bunnies so interesting and adorable, had to ask!

:)

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm short, short-waisted, but with a bigger waist-to-hip ratio than the standard "petite" jeans accommodate. This will sound funny, but I was actually considering buying some boys wrangler jeans since my son's size 12 fit me but are a little too short. I was going to check out a 14 to see if the length would work. Don't ask me why I decided to try my son's jeans--it was just something that hit my while doing laundry one day.:)

Hi JenL13, sorry I don't remember exactly the problem I had with finding jeans, I just remember being frustrated, lol. The Long and Lean fit perfect.

Lol, about the bunny and cat, let's just say I wouldn't leave them alone in the same room together. Bunnies are great pets, they are very social animals so they need lots of attention. She watches tv with me every night and just lays on my chest. I feed her fresh greens twice a day and she is litter trained so she is easy to clean up after. I am an animal lover too.
:) I am allergic to my cat though.:-( Claritan helps but my eyes get so itchy that I can't wear my contacts, but I love her, she is my shadow, follows me everywhere.:)

Yeah, I was wondering about that since cats have the natural instinct to kill! My cat, Stormy, who looks a lot like your kitty, is one of a kind let me tell you! Had a cat for 10 years that talked to me, lovable, wouldn't hurt anybody/anything. Not Storm-she is inside/outside cat, I would never declaw so she has them and she has killed squirrels, birds, 1 rabbit that I've seen(baby):-( and she caught a snake-yes, a snake but I saw her going after it & was able to get her away from it, she did bite it once but when I grabbed her he slithered away. I swear she really isn't a cat...lol! I love her to pieces but man, opposite of CJ, the one I had for 10years. Storm gets shrimp as treats instead of cat treats, you'd think she'd be loveable after all that but nope, she still scratches & bites whenever she is tired of me bugging (petting, playing)her!

I just love animals & getting to see the unique personality of each one. :)
