The lying tricep extensions are my favorite. It's such a great isolation move! I dread and don't do standing or sitting tricep extensions. I tense up too much in my neck and shoulder, probably because I have a plate and 6 screws in my neck:eek: :p :7

Like Michele, I love the lying cross-over extensions! Even with very light weight, I feel them immediately and know that muscle is really working. I guess I just love isolation moves.

I don't know why, but I CANNOT do overhead extensions! x( x(

I love working the triceps because I can go pretty heavy. My favorite is the lying tri extention, followed by the lying cross over tri extention. I like to do the lying work after the french press and the kick backs though.

I like the regular lying tri extention best because if you want to really challenge yourself, you can point your elbows a little further back (towards the back wall) that way your tri are engaged during the whole movement verses having the elbows right over the shoulder which provides a little bit of a rest when your arms are at full extention.

Okay I'll be the odd one here. I like the seated extensions. I can do them with 15lbs. I also like band kickbacks, but I do swear at Cathe during them. }(

I chose "other," because I prefer lying triceps extensions. The barbell version was the first triceps exercise I tried that started giving me some definition. I like both barbell and dumbell versions (with palms facing, or palms forward, or even with a twist added at the end).

I like kickbacks, both with db's and with the band. I don't do lying cross-over extensions. The arm position in that move, regardless of weight, makes my elbow tendonitis flare up. I'm sure they are effective, but I enjoy playing tennis too much to risk injury to my elbow.

Guess I'm the oddball here, dips are my favorite exercise for triceps! I sometimes do extra because I love them so much!

Tess,
I voted for dips as well. They give such a great burn. I also like the dips on the floor with hands on weights in BM2.

I voted for dips because I feel like I can do these for a long time without really burning out. So, I guess that means I think there easy for me. That is what you meant by favorite, right?:p
