Treadmill Workout for Hips

Hi Cathe!!!! I hope you are feeling fine!! Last Sept. you posted a treadmill routine for slimming the hips, and last week I started following it. My question is: You said that after the treadmill routine, immediately do the squat track from PH, lunge track from PH, and the floor work portion of PS Legs. When you say the squat track, do you also mean the plie squats?? Thank You so much.

Lori;

What is the workout? I am totally interested in that. I have a treadmill at home and would love to know a good workout for my womanly hips (hee hee). Would you let me know. Thanks.

Cathe suggested doing this twice a week to start out, if you need more, throw in MIS. 40 Mins. on treadmill(7 mins. are walking warm up, and 3 mins. are cool down.) After you warm up, continue with brisk walking if you don't do this regularly. But if you can eventually run for this workout, it would be more challenging. Even do a walk/run if you can not run the whole time.

Then immediately following your workout, do the squat track from PH, the lunge track from PH, and the floor work from PS Legs.

It is a great workout. I run at 5 mph the whole time, and do 8 or so running sprints in there for 1 min. I am really sweaty when I am done!!! I just don't know if you are to do the plie squats in the squat track because of the floor work in PS legs. Good Luck!!!

How often do you do this workout and for how long? I'm trying to incorporate treadmill work 2x a week, but I'm not following up with wieghts. But I'll give it a try now! Thanks, CinDee

I am sorry, the running part should be for 30 mins., plus the 7 warm up, and 3 cool down. I do this twice a week, and then one day I do MIS. I just started this last week, so I do not have any spectacular results yet to share. I work the UB on the other days.
