Treadmill or Spin Bike?

horsing around

I've had my treadmill for 10 years and use it frequently. However, I love biking and have used a spin bike here & there. If I only have space for one piece of equipment, do I keep my treadmill or get a spin bike?

My thighs are muscular and I'm not much of a runner, will do intervals on the treadmill. Will a spin bike help me slim down in that area? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Yes for me

My experience is that spinning helped me downsize my big legs, especially when I did it 3X a week. Walking or running never did that. Also, workouts using Gliding discs help, too.

I find I get a much better, more intense workout in less time, and with no impact, with spinning. I did spinning the other night and sweat was dripping off my nose and chin (I wasn't even going all out yet). I've never gotten that on a treadmill. The spin bike also takes up less space.

Another vote here for the spin bike. Spinniing is a no impact ,great workout. Spinning has done wonders for my leg definition.

Not to mention, Cathe is copming out with a SPIN WORKOUT!!! :D And, like RapidBreath said, you can run outside! You NEED a spin bike! ;)
