I really don't have a topic this week.Been having a tough time getting out of my rut.I worked out five mornings last week and not one this week. Will force myself to get up tomorrow morning.Eating needs serious work. It's so hard to be healthy. This heat is doing a job on me.I work in a sauna all day.I don't feel like doing anything when i get home.I hope it cools down so.I really need to get myself out and walk or something after work.

Had a blast in CT.Have serious house cleaning to do.Well,i'll make another game plan this weekend.Have alot to look forward to the rest of the year.Need to get my butt in gear.Hope everyone is doing well.

Hey there FS!

Maybe you just need a little time off and then you will come back energized and ready to kick butt. I was in a rutt and guess just needed a little time off and now I'm back feeling really good. Glad your trip was fun!

Hope the others are doing well. Hi to Bita, Gloria, Otisan, Juli, Robyn, Firmscorpio and others. Have a great rest of the week all...Janice

Hi ladies,
Hope you are doing wonderful!
FS, thanks for starting the week. And I hope you take it one day at a time. Take it easy. Glad you had fun in CT. So did you win in the casinos???

Hi to Robyn, Janice, Gloria, Otisan and Juli. Hope Juli is having a blast at vegas.

I am doing a max rotation this week, featuring all Cathe's Max workouts. So, I did Imax2, MIS, PowerMax, and bodymax. I will do Imax1, Circuit max, and MIC the rest of the week. Then next week I am planning to do all firm classics.

Hope your day and your week is happy, healthy and productive.
Take care.:)

Do you do the firm classics in a row with no rest in between?
Haven't done Bodymax yet =- looking forward to it!!!! Debra:)

Hi Debra,
Yes, I do the firm classics all in a row, with no rest in between.
As I am sure you know, each person is different though.

....And you will love the Bodymax.
Take care. :)

Hi Ladies -- I'm BAAAAAACK! Vegas was great (and very HOT). We walked everywhere; I estimate we walked at least 10 miles a day so I didn't worry about getting my exercise (at least the cardio part).

I'm supposed to be on vacation today as well, but it's not turning out that way. I'm working from home; things were hoppin' at the office while I was gone, so I'm cutting the vacation short so I can get somethings accomplished. It was so stressful before I left that I could really use the vacation day, but I'll just have to make do. At least I'm much less stressed than before I left. I still have to make another flower girl's dress over the weekend. Life is just crazy sometimes but that's ok. I'd rather be too busy than not busy enough.

It's my goal to get back on track with my usual workouts and my eating habits. Airports are the worst as far as food choices, so I just do the best I can in my choices (you know, like Dr. Weil's "good-better-best" approach) Now that I'm back home, I can get my usual 7-9 servings of fruits and veggies in.

I have to get back to work now but wanted to wish everyone a great day!

Juli

RE: Hey Juli!

Hi Debbie --

You're going to have a great time in Vegas! If you plan to hit the Strip, Harrah's is a lot of fun. The slots are looser than a lot of other places. I didn't hit any big jackpots, but I won $40 twice so my DH and I were able to play for hours. Also, the Carneval Court is right outside the entrance to Harrahs and there are different live bands playing from noon on. Also, if you drink beer, the bucket of beer is the cheapest we found at $4 for 16 ounces as opposed to $5 for 12 ounces everywhere else. There are various bands throughout the day (Carribean, country, rock, the whole gamut) so it's a good place to stop if you get too hot. It's easy to get worn out in the heat -- it was over 110 every day last week. It's true that it is a dry heat, but it's STILL hot. We took our hiking water bottles along so we didn't have to buy water. They came in handy. It's very easy to get dehydrated if you're not careful.

There's an excellent restaurant outside Paris called Mon Ami Gabi. You can sit outside and watch the Bellagio Fountains across the street. They have the misters running so it's bearable as far as the heat. We usually wait until the sun goes down.

Every casino has some kind of free show. My favorite was the Show in the Sky at Rio's. Rio's is a bit off the strip. You can save yourself a long walk by catching the shuttle from Harrah's to the Rio. Rio and Harrah's also have two great shows (these are not free but I recommend them highly) -- Ronn Lucas (ventriliquism) and Mac King (magic and comedy).

There are really no bad casinos in Vegas. All are beautiful and are worth seeing. Competition is fierce so they all have some kind of free entertainment. Most have the type of show and times posted at every entrance. I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter what you do. You'll have to give us a full report when you're back.

Have a Terrific Vacation, Debbie!

Juli

WOW Juli!

THANK YOU so much for the heads up on other things to do. My head is spinning on all we have heard to "NOT MISS"! I will copy this all down. We were told not to miss the fountains AT Bellagio by others too. Sounds like I need to take lots of cool tops...cool as in airy! Not sure how many KEWL tops I have! :p I am so looking forward to this vacation (hubby too) and I WILL report back. Thanks for all this detailed info!

RE: WOW Juli!

Hey Juli!

Glad you had a great time in vegas.. my kids went there last year with their dad for a few days - LOVED it.. they saw O - said it was AMAZING.

Talking about shows we saw Stomp yesterday with my kids (teenagers) all really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

Last week 1st week of S&H rotation. Cardio imax and Cardio kicks (didnt get my 3rd cardio in) ... Think I'll do this rotation 4 weeks then a CTX.

Don't the new pics look awesome !!!! I cant wait for the new tapes !

RE: WOW Juli!

Hi Robyn -

I love STOMP!!! Saw it a few years ago when it was in town. Lots of energy. It's one of my all-time favorites.

Well, I hit my goal today. I finished both of the dresses for the flower girls and they turned out great. I had my doubts in the beginning but they both look like something a princess would wear. My friend is going to pick them up tomorrow. I was stressing a bit over this because I really wanted them to be nice for her daughter's wedding. It's such a big day. I wanted these dresses to be perfect for her.

Now that my vacation is over and I'm done with the big sewing project, I'm back to my normal workout routine. Found a way to fit in 9 holes of golf with my DH today. It was another gorgeous day. I can't remember when Cincinnati has had such a beautiful summer. I'm enjoying every minute of it.

It's nearly midnight, so I guess I should hit the sack. Hope everyone is well.

Juli
