TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE 2/24-3/2

Happy Thursday All,

Well well well, I think I’m going to have to change my name from WildPony to Cyster cyster. Guess what the Dr. found? Yes folks I have another cyst. Remember how I went to Newport to have a CT Scan done on my kidney? The Dr. was checking for any physical reason that my BP was still high, you know just doing the correct thing ruling out any anomaly type possibilities and all. So my Kidney is not the problem but….. The mystery map we call “my body” has all sorts of other “things” happening inside. Lets start with the already known existing cyst that I have had for years that is fluid in nature on left kidney, ya we knew about that 4 cm now 7cm thing so no biggie. Next though we found a very small fibroid hanging by a thread off my uterus okay not such a big deal either. Oh, and lets not forget the other stones that are down sitting in my kidney that may or may not want to come out at some time yeah the biggest one is 5mm then there are the little ones around that one. (Note: I have had two previous passages of stones already) Well now for the big Kahuna, I have what may or may not be cyst on one of my ovaries. It does have some density and is about 4cm in size. My MD called yesterday and told me that she was going to call my Gyno today and discuss all of this and fax over my results. So today Gyno calls and says that a CT Scan really isn’t the best source to judge weather or not this area of suspect is relative or not. So now after I have my next period which fortunately is due next week (watch me be late) I need to go back and have an pelvic ultra sound done. So what am I thinking at this point. I’m thinking that if I start to take into account all the extra tissue that my body has on the inside and the stones that to get a real fix for myself I need to take off at least another pound or two from what the scales say. Lol. I mean after all if I stand naked with my hair dried and have just gone to the bathroom and then take off the now know extra tissue factor playing out inside my bod I’m a full 2 to 3 pounds lighter. Ha ha ha….Crap do you believe this **it? Oh, well now I just have to sit and wait again….

Yesterday I got in PUB and today is a 4 mile run and ab work. Then maybe I will have a glass of wine and take a hot bath. Whew sometimes my life in exhausting without me even doing anything.

Debbie aka cyster cyster….

Hi All --

I'm having a very challenging week and this is my first post since Sunday. No workouts, either. The weather and my schedule has been very unbalanced. In most areas of my life, I've been doing all the right things but it feels like I'm going nowhere. NOTHING seems to be happening.

Debbie -- Hang in there. It's all probably nothing. I had a cyst on my ovary a few years ago and had to do the ultrasound. The worst part is you have to drink about 40 ounces of water about an hour before and you can't go to the bathroom. If you do, the sound waves have nothing to bounce off of. My doc said cysts come and go and nearly everyone has them at some time. Some people have trouble with them and others wouldn't even know if the doc hadn't ordered the ultrasound. We'll pray for a good report.

Robyn -- You're attitude is great. You're right, things WILL improve.

Janice -- WOW, I'm impressed! You're HH trip sounds marvelous.

Hi to everyone else. I hope all is well.

Juli

Hey everyone!

Boy lots of us are going through tough times in this group. Here's to a new month and new POSITIVE events. Feb has been tough for MANY Of us (to say nothing of all the NEGATIVE stuff going on in the world).

Did tricep/bicep this am. Maybe to a CTX later today. Tomorrow is Imax - YIPEE my FAVORITE!

YIPPEEE it's the 28th GLAD to see the end of this month! At least it's a short one!

Hey All,

Thanks for your support and sharing the hilarity of my new cyst/fibroids & stones. Lol. Really humor helps me to keep it all in perspective. Time will tell and you now I’ll share the latest.

Any ways I in did get my run in yesterday and today will be a total body strength w/o although I’m not sure which one to choose just yet.

Today we will be celebrating Mandi’s 30th b-day. Mandi is youngest dd’s quarter horse mare. I don’t know if you know but that is a pretty old age for a horse. Although Mandi comes out of a famous racing quarter horse called Go Man Go and he lived to be 40!!! We have carrots and sugar cubes to celebrate with and dd is planning on spending the day walking around different parts of the ranch with Mandi. Then for the grand finale dd is going to let Mandi graze in other dd’s yard alone and let her mow down the grass in there. Quite the treat for Mandi today. Are critters are so spoiled but believe me they love it.

Thanks again and Hello to all,
Debbie

Hi:D

Yesterday was Pyramid Lower Body. Today I did Pyramid Upper Body. I did the ball work first and that worked very well. I could actually do the pikes (with a rest in the middle)! I also did the last 5 intervals of IMAX2 for a nice 30 minute cardio. I'm pooped but have to work the night shift so I better boogie.

Boogie nights ain't no doubt - we are here to par-tay . . .
dance with the boogie get down - cuz boogie nights are always the best in town . . . got to keep on dancin' - keep on dancin' . . .

Happy Birthday Mandy:D (the horse)

Goodness gracious Debbie, I can't believe you're having to go through the waiting game again. Life seems to throw it at us sometimes doesn't it. I'm glad you've found doctors you feel comfortable with to help you, and of course, we all know your VDH and VDD's will be cheering you on. Stay busy, watch movies, read, drink your wine and maybe go out and buy a book on Feng Shui. Maybe your Karma needs a little change. I thought you Californians had that stuff all figured out. (OK, I deserve a southern jab for that comment) Hang in there.

I've been moving my Dad since Monday afternoon. My sisters left today with a packed U-Haul and my brother is coming in tomorrow for his loot. I took as little as possible and most of that was for the sentimental value. Sure makes me want to clear out my clutter even more. I hope we will be finished after this weekend.

Eating has been crappy. Exercise has been sporadic. I'm pinning high hopes on getting myself back on a schedule for March. These life curves are tough on my routine. But, life is good and I'll get headed in the right direction again soon. Have a happy weekend gals.

Gloria

Quick post. Saturday craziness at this house. Just finished Boot Camp. Since I had done PUB yesterday, I just did lower leg work when Cathe did upper body strength work.

Leaving for Bahamas on Thursday. Suddenly quite motivated to eat well!

Have a great weekend.

(Gloria - March is going to be a great month for you and your workouts! I feel it in my bones:D)

Happy March first to everyone! I mean that- Debbie, I hope you get some resolution to your cyst. Gloria, it must feel so liberating to have finally finished cleaning out your father's house. I agree with Michelle, this is your month. Robyn, I'm feeling good vibes coming with this job position- you're in my prayers! Michelle, have a great time in the Bahamas next week, finally some nice warm weather! Juli, I hope your busy week is followed by one that you can relax & reflect. FS, I know it's been cold this winter, but it's going to get warmer, hang on! Janice, welcome back sweetie!! Now that you are armed with a bunch of fitness pointers, I'm sure your workouts are going to be "kicked up a notch" :)

I had to take three days off from working out; taxes, wedding showcases and dinner at the wedding hall. Today I did All Step and shoulders, triceps & biceps that I missed during the week. I'm sticking to the CTX series for another week and then it's the PS series for the rest of March.

I also got my hair highlighted this morning. Nothing feels quite like "let's get this winter over with and bring on the spring" more than having highlights. Have a great weekend!!

Another quick check-in. I've got the late shift tonight. I did Viper without the weight sections. I'm guessing this is 45 minutes of cardio? Also I did abs from CTX.

(Otisan - highlights are very good things:D)

Hi All --

I've been completely DISCOMBOBULATED all week. Did a lot of PROCRASTINATING because I was a bit scared to try a new technique with my serger sewing machine (it worked fantasticly, hard to figure out why I was so intimidated)

I haven't worked out all week, the DISCOMBOBULATED thing, you know. Didn't work out at all this week, don't really know why. All of a sudden I just stopped. My eating was a bit sloppy, too. Again, no known reason. I hate it when that happens!!!!

Tomorrow is a new day and week and I'll be back to normal. Today I finished that last of the sewing for my costumes. I'm taking them to the church on Tuesday. That means I will have made my Lent deadline. I'm glad this project is over. I've been working on this since Christmas day and it's been a long haul. I really enjoy sewing but I'm ready for a break. That Roman Soldier really did me in.

Gloria -- Sending positive vibes your way as you help your dad move. That must be very stressful and I'm sending soothing thoughts your way.

Fitdoc -- Best wishes for a great vacation!

Otisan -- I couldn't agree with you more about the highlight thing.

Gotta run! My best to all--

Juli

OMG! I leave you guys for awhile and I miss all kind of things! Debbie! I'm so sorry you're goiing through this nerve racking waiting thing again. (((DEBBIE))) Enough already! You've had enogh for a lifetime. You look so incredible and I'm so proud of you!!!

I haven't worked out since last Friday but here's my excuse: Friday morning I get a call from DD who's due to have baby in 2 weeks and she says she's having those contractions that do nothing again but they're a "little more painful" than usual. I told her this might be it but she wouldn't go to hospital for a false alarm again so I went to work(Closer to her house) After I get to work there's a voice mail saying"MOM!! It's for REAL! Come on" That's it! She didn't tell me where she was or anything. So I FLEW!! to her house and she's NOT THERE! She's at hospital already(DROVE HERSELF!!!) OMG, by now I'm totally freaking out! By the time I get to hospital she's already in surgery having the baby. GOOD NEWS is that he's 6 pounds 7 ozs and perfect. She's fine(Grandma is a basket case by now) The totally cool thing is Rayne(Granddaughter) was 9 years old so "Spenser James" was born on her birthday!! How cool is that? SSSOOO...I've been babysitting the 9 year old all weekend and workouts just had to wait!! Pretty good excuse huh?:)

Juli-Sory you're having such a tough time. I've had the ovarian cyst thing too. Isn't it fun to drink all that water and then you cna't go to the bathrrom? Mine required surgery due to excessive bleeding but it went fine. Didn't need that damned old uterus anymore anyway!LOL

Firmscorpio-You sound good honey. SO GLAD! You've had a tough year lst year! Wonderful to hear you so positive!

Fitdoc-Hope you have a ball in Bahamas. I LOVE that place and can't wait to go again! You deserve some "Michelle" time. Have fun!

Gloria-Glad you're almost finished with the moving. That's stressful isn't it?
Robyn- I just know you'll find the job for you soon. Just "feel" it!

Otisan-I'm ready for spring too but not like you poor babies. We've just had so many rainy, dreary days lately. NOT anything like what ya'll have gone thru! Just yucky and cool. Usually by St.Patrick's Day all the azaleas are blooming but they don't look "ready" this year. Wish you could be in Savannah in the spring! Breath taking!

Juli-I feel the DISCOMBOBULATED thing too after this last 3 days. DH and I are DETERMINED to RUNN OFF this weekend together. Even if it's just 20 miles down the road with the motorhome! We need some "us" time.

Well, this work thing is clling so must go now. Sorry if I missed anyone. Have a great week. Can't wait!! to get back to working out tomorrow. SICK huh? but you all understand! Janice-the-new-happy-Grandma

Welcome back Janice and Juli! I'm so proud of you Juli for getting all those costumes done. What a beautiful gift!

Janice, congrats on your beautiful new gift - a healthy baby!

Good things are happening all around us!:D

I'll be back later to post a workout.:)

See you all on this weeks post :)

Me again! Had to share! DH just called me at work. He's bought a nice bottle of wine and "gift" from Jokers Novelties.}( That's a naughty store here in savannah. My day just brightened up!! Something to look forward to for tonight! Just wanted to share 'cause I knew you'd care(Didn't mean to rhyme) Janice

We've got two threads going. This is last week's thread and Gloria started a new one for the week. I'll respond to both.

Just finished Muscle Endurance. Man oh man that ab work was tough! (I can’t make it all the way through – perhaps someday . . .)

Janice! LOL}( Have fun with DH tonight!
