Training for Video ?

Hi Cathe,
I would like to tell you that I am enjoying the Xpress series, Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks very much. Thanks for giving us great,challenging workouts. In the latest videos I have noticed how "tight" your workout partners are. Hope, Rhonda and the tall lady with shoulder length brown hair(I don't know her name)look great. Not that they didn't in the last video's but they really look cut in the latest video's. Especially the abs. I would like to know if you all did any training other then rehearsing for the videos. If so, would you share what you did? My abs are my weak spot on my body. My youngest turns 8 tomorrow and I still have that loose skin...so if you could share w/ me what you all did I would appreciate it.
Oh yes and I saw some of the pictures over at VF and you all looked like you had such a good time last weekend. I hope sometime in the future I will be able to come workout w/ you all. Thanks!!

Hi Lollie! Thanks for the compliments. I can't say that we did anything additional outside of rehearsals to credit the "tighter" look.

Unless one has gifted genetics, a clean diet and a varied and effective fitness program is truly the only "magic formula" that I'm aware of to safely keep healthy and fit.

If the loose skin that you are referring to not related to weight issues but rather due to stretched skin from child birth, then unfortunately this skin will be much harder to tone up. While not completely impossible to firm up, this skin has lost much elasticity and will be very difficult to tighten. Keep in mind that you may see positive improvements but there is the possibility that it may not fully return to the tightness it once had. I'm still working hard on that one myself.

I think I just have loose skin...I am short (5'2") and would just like to tone my stomach a little more. I will just create a workout program that will push my metabolism a little bit more.

I am alternating between the xpress serious and Interval Max and the PS series. We are on our way to Thailand in two weeks and I want to look good on the beach.;-) For the next two weeks I am doing Interval Max 2x's wk, PS series 3'xs wk, and Carido Kicks or Circuit Max once or twice a week. I will probably put Leaner Legs in there somewhere. Alot of times it depends upon my mood which tape I work out to, but I am trying to stay w/ these tapes for a while.

Thanks for replying, and Eric looked adorable in his costume...He has grown so much. Take lots of pictures because they grow so quickly. My oldest will be eleven.:-hmmm If things go as plan she will be off to College in SEVEN years!Thanks for the workouts again!

What is a Clean Diet?

I have read the Firm's definition, but would like to know what the rest of the fitness world considers a clean diet.
