Just curious as to who is going to order the new Tracey workouts?

I have bought Jari Love, P90X, and a few others. I do them once and then I always go back to my Cathe's. For those of you who have purchased Tracey or Amy's Bento's workouts....do you reach for them often?

Is the fun factor there like with Cathe's?

I'd appreciate any help that you can give me!:)

Hi, I do have Tracey and Amy's. I am like you and always go back to Cathe. I don't use them very much. I don't think they have the same fun factor and I really don't care for the music in either of their series. I know many like the music and especially Amy's newer ones. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Karen

I have given up buying others for the time being. They just seem like I am wasting my money. I buy them, try them and then usually ebay them because they just sit there as I always reach for Cathe.

I very much enjoy and use Amy Bento's HLX and KBX. The music is fabulous, the combo's are fun and intense and right now I will probably do them once a week. I'm finding cross training with other workouts/instructors is tons of fun, has motivated me more, and continues to challenge me. HLX and KBX are the only two workouts I own from Amy and I have not liked everything she has put out (someone loaned me a few), but she seems to be getting better and better and HLX and KBX are arwesome cardio workouts! I am not a fan of kickbox or hi/lo, but I LUV these workouts! Really, let me just gush a little bit more!

I've put the Jari Love DVD Ripped to the Core on sale at Amazon dot com. I think I only asked a couple of dollars for it.

What horrible production values on the Jari Love DVD - like it was filmed in her basement. I especially loved the shot where she dips out of the camera's view while doing squats. WTH??? Was a child holding the camera? - haha!

Cathe's my one true instructor, even when she asks me to do stupid stuff like 800 outer leg lifts on the step. :p

Love the feedback! I think I will save my money and hope that Cathe will be making an announcment soon! I just can't seem to get enough of her workouts. I always look forward to starting my morning with Cathe!:)

Glad to know that there are others like me!

I plan to order Tracey's new step workout. I have her first step DVD, along with several of Amy's workouts. I very much enjoy both of these instructors and look forward to their new offerings. I still use Cathe's DVD's most often, but I am glad that there are finally other instructors of Cathe's caliber available for a change of pace.

I think the fun factor is definitely there with both Amy and Tracey and I actually prefer Amy's music over Cathe's.

I agree with Angela and Juice. I like both Tracey and Amy. I find that cross training with other advanced instructors is the only way to go for my body. My body seems to adapt to Cathe's workouts ...even though I have a large variety of them. Other instructors usually have a different spin on certain weight exercises. Amy's second offerings are better than her first. Her first were good...but a bit on the short side. You can always repeat segments though to make them longer. Amy's forte is Hi/Lo. She's really good at that and her cardio is intense.....some even think it may be a bit more so than Cathe's (dare I say that). Sometimes I think Amy is nuts!! I love it.

Tracey's first offerings weren't bad. She filmed them all in one day...so the ones she filmed first are slightly better. I'd say her Core workout is very good and unique. Her interval step workout is good....but I have a hard time following her step routines (same with Amy). They don't break down moves at all. Some people are okay with that. I can follow enough to get a good intense workout, but I'm not always on the correct leg, etc. I'm pretty sure Tracey's 2nd batch will be much better as she listened to constructive criticism on her first series.

I agree with lorajc. I like variety in my routine and although Cathe delivers it is refreshing not to mention more challenging to try some different exercises. I have both Tracey and Amy's workouts although I never purchased the step workouts because I require a little extra help in the coordination department.

I may order Tracey's new kickboxing and weights workouts. The step doesn't appeal to me because there will be 30 minutes of more complex cardio (along with the 30 minutes of athletic cardio I'd like). She planned to have each workout be 90 minutes, but ended up cutting the step and sculpting workouts down to 60 minutes.

I'm still waiting to see clips from the actual workouts (hope they will post before the presale is over--it just started yesterday).

I enjoy mixing up my workouts, and I have found good instructors besides Cathe, some of whom offer things she doesn't. I like Jari Love, Amy Bento, Tony Horton, Powerstrike, Karen Voight, even some Kathy Smith (her newest "Matrix" sculpt workout is interesting, but I wish she'd take some lessons in staying on the beat of the music!).

I'm not much of a fan. I have the core and kickbox/sculpt workout and want to get rid of them to make room for others! }(
