Toughest abs, biceps, shoulders, etc...

I'm wanting to work one body part a day and am wondering which workouts worked each body part best for you (or combinations of differents ones) . You know, like the killer biceps in....ok, that's my problem, I can never remember which ones I liked best from what workout!:eek: :-(

I'm looking for what got your shoulders in their best shape ever, the same with each body part.

I used Gym Styles to work one body part per day and it worked great for me-as for shoulders thats my FAVORITE body part to work-I do one body part per day and I add drill max in because she works shoulders in that and I also add muscle max one day too. It may seem like alot but it worked for me.

You could use Cathe's one body part per day rotation. It doesn't actually use videos, but lists exercises to do each day for each body part. I used it for a couple of months last year and got GREAT results:)
 
oops I forgot abs-any of Cathes ab workouts are great and I only work abs 3x per week-some people work abs everyday you need to play around with that and see what works for you. I love coremax so if you have that one 1 segment per workout works great!!

I took your suggestion and did GymStyle shoulders and shoulders on the stability ball from Drill Max.}( LOVED IT! Shoulders are my favorite body part to work too!

Shelley, I've seen that rotation but I am soooo not self motivated. I don't know that without Cathe talking me through the workouts that I'd complete it. Just words on a paper don't push me like Cathe talking to me and the music, etc...
I'll look at it again though and maybe I can incorporate some of it with video's or something.

Hi Becky! One of my fav Bicep workouts is Power Hour BIS. Cathe only uses a 15# BB but it sure gets in there good! I haven't done it for quite awhile as I have been using her newer workouts but may just need to dig this out myself. Good Luck with your goals!

What about the Xpress DVD's? The ones with kickbox, leaner legs, abs and upper body work? You could pick a different bodypart to work each day, plus abs? I personally think this these DVD's are terrific, all of us do not have the time on some days to power through a 45 minute workout, I use these DVD's so much!!

I always think MIS is killer. Cathe does crazy 8s w/ a 35lb barbell. I am still working up to that. This is one of my all time fave workouts.

Shoulders are my favorite to work too. I like GS, MM and the shoulder segment from All Step. DM is good for the rear delt. For biceps I think my favorite is PUB. That is one tough workout for bi's! For triceps it's definitely GS, that's the only tricep workout that gives me DOMS. I think part of the reason that workout is so effective though is because it follows chest which pre fatigues the triceps. My favorite for glutes and hamstrings is B&G. Hope that helps.:)

How did it go? I remember thinking the first time I did PH BIS, "Wow, Cathe is only using 15 pounds?" Thank goodness she takes that lil' break partway thru, eh? Good Luck with your one body part a day! Let us know how it goes.

I loved it ! I did PH bi's and then added bi's from BM too.}( I thought the same thing......Only #15 on the barbell?? But I was GLAD I didn't put on any more than that when it went on and on.....:p ;-)

Thanks Amy! Today I'm doing GS triceps. That is probably the body part that needs the most work for me. I tend to have "flappers".:eek: :p

Anyone have a killer chest workout to reccomend?
