Hello All,

Im making The Turkey Meatloaf and a bit confused about an ingredient!
When she says "one single serving of veg. soup mix" What is she talking about?

Hi,

I've never tried this recipe from her book, but perhaps she means the single serving indicated on the nutrition label of the soup mix. I hope this helps and let me know how this recipe turns out.

I've seen these dry soup mixes but they all have noodles in them! Surely she wouldn't mean those!

Im I missing something here?
 
There is a box of single serving dry soup mixes that you can buy at the store. I think they are sold in a box of 4, by Lipton or Knorr. Look for "Cup of Soup" Mix. :)

Sorry I just now got back to the forums. Niecebug is right. Knorr carries a "Vegetable Soup, Dip and Recipe Mix" and it's quite good, except I've only seen the single envelope(4 servings) per box where I shop. Good Luck!

Sorry, I was off the boards this weekend. I used the Knorr. The sodium content is a bit high but it makes an entire meatloaf. Let us know what you think about the recipe.

I decided to make the roasted red potatoes with chicken recipe tonight-It was very good! My dh even ate it and he is very picky!

I just got back from the grocery store and got some of the veggie dry soup mix...I'll let you guys know how the turkey meatloaf turns out tommorrow when I make it!:)
