Hi everyone. I have been down and out for the count for awhile now. I hurt my knee (behind the knee cap) in the beginning of September doing a step workout. It didn't seem that bad in the beginning and I could walk on it fine 90% of the time. I cut all activity out except for walking, but then my knee started feeling weak and wobbly. Anyway, I just found out today that I most likely have a partially torn meniscus. Right now I am going to go to PT for 3 weeks or so and see if it gets any better, which it usually does for small tears. If not then it is off to the ortho doc for a consult and possibly surgery.
Yuck! I am so depressed. Anyway, enough feeling sorry for myself. Though you guys can feel sorry for me
. Does anyone have any experience with a torn meniscus? Also, any thoughts for staying sane while you can't exercise. I am really moody and grumpy now. My poor DH.
