Top Chef is trying to fool us

I am in LOVE with Fabio. I will gladly provide Fabio free room & board in exchange for his services. ;)

But I'm hoping for Arian. Her restaurant is about 15 minutes from me. Some of us are talking about having lunch there one day & meeting her. Maybe we'll get some spoilers. :p

Anyway, Wed was their "Christmas" show & it was a bit annoying that everyone kept saying "Merry Christmas" & "Happy Holidays" when it was so obvious the show was filmed during the summer. Every single one of them was in Whole Foods shopping in shorts & t-shirts. Not practical attire in NYC during December. :rolleyes:

I guess it doesn't really matter though. The show always leaves me wiping drool off my chin. :)
 
Hey, who got the boot this week? I tried to stay up and watch the whole show, but on the west coast than means staying up until 11pm and I am a weany!:)
 
I really like Fabio too. He reminds me of one of my friends from Argentina. Totally charming and hilarious. I love all of his comments. I think in the previews for next week Jamie makes scallops again and he says something like "this is Top Chef not Top Scallop" :D.

Laura - that would fun to go to Arian's restaurant. Let us know how it is if you go.

Liz - Carla seems really cool and down to earth. I like her a lot too.
 
Carla is really terrific; a very spiritual person with a gentle heart. It would kill me if any of the contestants were mean to her!
 
Oh Carla the caterer? She is def my #3! She's great! I like Fabio b/c he's hot, I like Arian b/c she's a fellow Jersey girl. ;) Also I love the way she went from the bottom to the top within a few weeks.

No one got the boot this week. Padma & Tom said they were all so bad they're giving them a do-over. :eek:

No one got the boot. Someone left the refrigerator door open overnight and ruined the protein for 2 of the chefs so everyone pitched in to help them out. Since everyone was so nice and it was "Christmas" they decided not to vote everyone out. The judges were also disappointed because they said most of the dishes were not up to par. I like Arian but deviled eggs? I could have made that.

Carla seems really sweet. Actually I am surprised and delighted that they all seem to be getting along.
 
Yes, Carla's the caterer. She can really cook - everything she makes is DEEELISH! She's the kind of person who finds the good in every situation. I really admire her for that quality.
 
I just love it whenever Rocco is on there. He's cute as H*ll and he cooks. If he can wire a house and fix leaky plumbing get out of my way 'cause he's MINE!!!
 
I like Fabio too. He is so cute and the accent.:D I like Arian also and Jamie.

Stefan I found mildly irratating.
