I do a full body weight lifting routine on tuesdays and thursdays and it lasts about an hour, with 2 exercises per muscle group. Is the one day of rest in between enough or should i change my schedule to tuesdays and fridays instead and have 2 days in between each workout.
 
It somewhat depends on what your goals are. You would be able to lift more if you put an extra day in between workouts (and would need that extra day for recovery). Also, there wouldn't be that long Friday-Monday gap between workouts.
