I wonder if he covers what you do INSTEAD of emotional eating? I can easily identify when I'm eating for emotions (stress does it to me every time). And i'll stuff "whatever" in my mouth because I'm stressed because it makes me feel better. I KNOW why I'm eating.
This book sounds good, and I have an amazon GC burning in my pocket, but I'd want to make sure it could HELP me with the emotional eating.
What do you think?
Hi Chris,
Like Liz said, he gives you some good strategies for dealing with emotional eating, which is one of the reasons I ordered it.
I posted a review of it over at Amazon, and really recommend it. If you already have BFFM, then it has a lot of similar information, but the info on emotional eating and some of the goal-setting info is new.
