Hi DebbieH,
I'm not around much anymore so maybe I just missed it, but I've been curious how your daughter is doing with her pregnancy. Did she get over her sickness? I hope she is doing much better.

Lisa!

How sweet of you to ask! Julie is doing MUCH better as of about two weeks ago! We are just thrilled. We called last night to talk to her and her & Kennedy were out shopping. Never thought we'd hear that this pregnancy! She is still taking the cancer med for nausea. They tried to taper her down a couple weeks ago and she started getting very sick again so the Dr. upped it back to normal. He assures her that it will not hurt baby or Mom. She took it last pregnancy in pill form, this time in a IV that is stronger and faster acting. I have a cute story to share with you: I called Kennedy a couple of days ago and asked her how she was. She said in a very sickly, weary voice, I don't feeeel very good!" I said, "Oh, what's wrong?" She said, "I have a baby in my tummy!" I about had tears running out of my eyes. Just goes to show how they pick up on EVERYTHING Mommy says! Thank you so much for asking and caring. That means a lot and I will pass it on to Julie. BTW, I miss you around here. I noticed you aren't posting as much. Hope all is well. HUGS 2 U!

RE: Lisa!

Hi DebbieH,
I am so happy to hear that Julie is much better now. I had a friend that this happened to and she not only never gained during pregnancy but ultimately lost 10 lbs (and she was thin to start with). Still, however she had a perfectly healthy baby. Amazing how our bodies can make a perfectly healthy baby regardless of how sick the mommy is.

Everything is fine with me, thanks for asking. I am actually very excited about the easier Cathe DVD's that's coming out because I have a tough time with choreography so it will be nice to have a Cathe workout to do when I don't want to work my brain too. (which happens alot!)

Take care!
Lisa

RE: Hooray!

Thanks Andi. We are just thrilled. We didn't think it would pass this time. (Julie's sickness) I think Kennedy will feel better in 9 months! Ha! J/K of course! Nice to "see" you here!
