I finally made it to week 4. Hurrah! 16/13/13/11/16 total of 69.
The total is going down?? Week 5 looks like a bit of a bear, so I will be quite happy with the lower numbers for a bit. Have a Happy Day, Everybody!

Not all at once, yet. Doing them with the handles, still, but may try them next week "plain," and try to do them according to the plan. Not sure where to start, but will probably try week 5, column 2 or 3.

I keep saying I'll do 200 total in a day, but I seem to stop at 150.

WTG ladies!!! :D You are doing great! I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that you are doing these ON YOUR TOES!!!! That's insane!:D:p

Has anyone noticed strength gains from this plan? I was shocked at how much easier chest press was yesterday! Now, if I could see some of that muscle!

See you tomorrow! Week 3, day 3 and I'm askeered!

Second 100 was without handles - 25 med ball (one hand on a ball; 25 decline with feet on a med ball; 25 staggered; 25 with the toes of one foot resting on the heels of other foot - all of these variations are TOUGH & really good abs workouts in themselves.

I have long read that pushups are one way to increase your strength for the chest press. To me, the ultimate chess press IS the push-up!

I think we have two pushup threads today!

Wow, cakebaker! Amazing.

I think that yesterday's total was about 200, just doing a little quick math in my head. But they were all the standard vanilla kind of pushup. Still pretty proud of myself.

Becky, I haven't noticed stregth gains, but I haven't been working chest much while I've been doing the pushups...I have been using that as my chest work. But I have noticed some more definition in my chest and shoulders. (I almost look like I might have cleavage now. Maybe.) Pretty cool!

For the "look," push-ups do it all

I totally don't do any weight work AT ALL, and I have nice defined chest, arm & back muscles with just push-ups - I really don't care how much weight I can hoist. Yeah, I'm vain and it's all about lookin' good, I'll admit it. The handles helped kick it up with the definition, too. I may do a test set next week of "vanilla" push-ups just to see how many I can crank out all at once.
