I never heard of this either, and hope it does not catch on here! I have no time for this.
 
Nancy-I never heard of boo vags here in colorado either. I would however love to move to California :) San Diego is the place for me. Anyway if you decide on Colorado you are safe from boo bags:)

Seriously, Colorado is my first choice because DH's business is headquartered there. He works remotely from home here in NY, but if we lived there he could actually see people's faces once in a while. The biggest problem for me is your community property law. I could do the work I do for almost any law firm in any state, but when it comes to the community property states, I would really have to change my whole way of thinking about the law. Yet, the only states I have any interest in moving to are all community property states.

My dream is to have a back yard with a fence so I can own a dog, and have a house with a workout room.

Wow--I'm so glad they don't do this in my office! It would really piss me off.

Nancy, I think you'd be fine in Colorado, at least in and around the cities. I know several people from the East coast who moved out there and liked it. I've been to Aspen--it's gorgeous and expensive, so it'd be just like home for you, at least on the last part! }(
 
Never heard of boo-bags either. Would never happen where I live though - my neighbors across the street are Jehovah's Witnesses and the others are Amish. HA!
 
Nancy-If you ever do come out here be sure and let me know. We can have a get together. I don't know much about property laws here but I will tell you I hate insuruance laws here!

They aren't that bad. Although I don't own a house yet so I'm expecting my perspective to change...

Community property was my favorite 1.5 weeks in first year property class... ;)
 
Where did the Boo Bag thing come from? This started at our office last year and someone started it again this year. It's kind of cute but I don't have time to Boo back! :-( Anyway, I did participate but who thought this up?

Hey! I think the boo bag thing is kinda cute!! Maybe I will be the "evil" one and start this next year. Hey, Nancy, Arizona weather is becoming truly lovely....no earthquakes here....okay, mighty hot summers.....but now the weather is too nice for words....

LOL Nancy!! Teach you how to ride an earthquake, or community property?! ;) (There is a full course I have yet to take on that second subject... and there is some museum around here that teaches you how to do the first!!)
