This week's Lost! Spoilers!

So, what did everything think of this week's episode? I really liked how they did this episode with showing how the survivors from the back of the plane had to cope with their survival, their run-ins with the Others, and then their eventual link with the other survivors.

Anyone have some theories of the Others? I'm thinking that they either are the scientists running the "press the button" experiments or they were those button pressers who abandoned the hatch prior to Desmond's arrival. I personally think they are the former given the Others mentioned that they are only interested in the good survivors (and that pushing the button is bad)...

I think the "Others" have something to do with the failed experiment and the hatch. (Though I saw a show---Access Hollywood?--where they played Walt's message backwards, and it supposedly said "push the button....any button's good").

I think the "Others" may be capturing some people for a breeding program? Something to do with the experiment. That's why they want "good" people and children. Though why they have no shoes is a mystery to me!


Do the mysteries of "Lost" ever remind anyone else of that British show about a former spy who was sent to an island where there was a big transparent ball bouncing around and people spying on him? He was "number 6" I think? Just lots of very enigmatic things that it seems people make up off the top of their heads (the writers).
