This junkie got her fix!

Hey, Sarah -
I'm a little late on picking up this thread - but CONGRATULATIONS! I can only imagine what 15 miles must feel like. Wow! I used to run and am just now trying to get back into it. But I have never been able to do distances. My feet don't like me very much - they never have - and they really rebel against that much pounding. So throw an extra mile in there for me some day, will you?
 
I remembered that I totally forgot to answer this on Christmas day when we were 4.5 hours away from home...sorry!!

My favorite is if I want to stretch the left IT band, I stand with legs crossed, left foot in back, right foot crossed in front. Lean forward so your fingers touch the floor by your feet, slowly bend the right knee and allow your body weight to shift to the left hip.

Another...sit and with legs bent, cross legs so that one knee is stacked on top of the other and feet are pointing to the sides. Lean upper body forward. I rest my chin on the top knee. Switch.

Again, so sorry I forgot to post this Saturday! If I suck at describing these stretches, let me know and I'll take another try at it.
