this is why i hate ppl!

somebody cyphined half a tank of gas out of my van . dh has been working two jobs to keep up since i am out of work for the summer. this pisses me off b/c now i am afraid to give him more gas money b/c they will just do it again but i need to buy a gas lock. this week i can't afford to do both. we had to pay the rent and that took alot of this check.

i hated to ask but i emailed my mom to ask if i can borrow the money to buy the gas cap lock and i will pay her back on friday. she has money issues as well but i don't know what to do. i put a lock on my car only to have somebody key by the gas cap probably b/c they couldn't get into it.

this whole thing makes me mad, i live in a so-so area, i work hard and pay my rent just like them. i don't have lot but worked hard for what i have. why do ppl i have to do this? i am so upset b/c its been a hard week with money only to have this happen. dh is worn out from working so much and now i have to tell him i don't have enough money in checking to take care of this. he is using my car now(which means i the tank of gas i have will be gone before the end of the coming week) good thing i don't have to be anywhere this week or else we would be up a creek without a paddle but the following week i have to take viola for the rest of her summer services before school so i am going to need the car.

i am in tears b/c it hurts so bad that we work so hard to make ends meet this summer. i will be back to work soon so i don't have to worry so much about money(although always an issue i could at least afford the $60 to but the lock and put gas back in the van without having to worry).

i just wanna scream and punch somebody in their face. what gives them the right!!! everybody is struggling! what makes you feel you are so special to steal from somebody else!!

thanks for letting me vent. going to try to calm down and talk to my dad.

I understand what you are going through. Not too long ago I found myself in the same position financially. And during that time my apartment was robbed, my car was broken into, a lost a job etc.

I know what it means to have every penny count. I do hope things get better for you soon and please try to stay strong.

thanks marta. i am just so hurt. so many of us have rallied for the thugs to stay out of our area they are not welcomed here if they want to act like gansters with their thieving and their drugs,but nobody can help us. it hurts to ask my mom for money but she is all i really have to turn to. that hurts more then somebody not respecting my property. i guess it a ego thing, if i have to ask to borrow money then i am failing at something. i know its not true, just ran out of lucky pots of gold this week. i just have to make until friday but whoever did this was a real jerk b/c why should i do without b/c somebody wants to be a bum and steal instead of earning their keep.

So sorry this happened to you. Seems the people that can least afford it are the ones victimized. I started pulling my truck in the drive at night even if I have to move it for hubby to get his out. We are lucky that we have a chain link fence with a padlock as we are not in the best area. I have heard that the new way of getting gas is by using a cordless drill and they just drill a hole in the gas tank. At least you won't have to buy a new gas tank.
