This is just too funny

I know I've posted on this before, but I saw it again last night in the gym. These people who take spin classes & get dressed up in full cyclist regalia--the bike shorts (OK maybe I can understand this b/c probably you need the padding), the skin tight shirts, those silly looking shoes--what do these people think they're doing? Cutting down on wind resistance in the basement of my health club? Racing Lance Armstrong through the streets of gay Paris? Jeez Louise!

Hi Laura!

I see this ALL the time in my gym as well, and it really is simply too funny!! I'm all for wearing cute work out clothes which can make you feel better. But Jees Louise this people are too funny. I guess it makes them feel better and if it helps them stick to the program than good for them, right? P.S. There must be a lot of wind resistance in their Spinning Rooms. Although, we only have one little fan in ours...haha:)

I don't go to the gym but I can only imagine.
There is one girl that runs around this town and she is beautiful(no doubt) and when she runs she is done up to the 9's.She has he long earrings in, she has her hair put up some how, makeup on, and her outfit always matches. It cracks me up everytime!
When I go running I am the opposite.I am sure I am not going to look good when I am running anyway so why even bother!
Lori:)

Well, the shorts and the shoes make sense since spin bikes have the pedals you clip into (my gym does, maybe yours doesn't), but the jersey wearing is a little odd. A lot of the people who take spin classes at the gym that I work at actually bike to the gym, so that makes sense, but otherwise I guess they're just trying to look the part(?)

That reminds of the beautiful young Asian woman who used to run by my apartment on a daily basis when I lived in NYC. She was always dressed in black workout clothes and wore bright bright red lipstick. The funniest thing though was the intense, "aren't I just IT!" model pout she was always sporting as well.

I bike all the time and just wear regular workout shorts and top. To me it doesn't matter, because the minute I put the goofy helmet on, all cuteness flies out the window anyway. :p
