Debbie,
A while back I read about apple cider vinegar, for dandruff. It also helps make the hair very healthy. No breakage and a stronger head of hair. To make a long story short, I thought if vinegar can make your head healthy, then it makes since that perhaps it can allow your hair to come back.
I told some of my friends that were loosing their hair this information and my idea, and they tried it. Not only did they become drandruff free, but they are also growing back new hair. It's amazing! I also cut some of my friends hair, and I can see the new hair growth. I saw new growth in about 2 or 3 months.
I don't know if it works for everyone, but for my friends it does. I don't know if you can quit, because everyone is afraid they may lose their hair again, and don't want to take that chance, so they continue to use the apple cider vinegar.
In case you are interrested, here are the instructions.
1. Wash and rinse your hair twice with your own shampoo that you like.
2. On the last rinse, make sure the shampoo is out of your hair.
3. In a container pour in one part water to one part apple cider vinegar (stronger if you can handle it).
4. Now rinse this into your hair and message in your scalp for about five minutes. Leave in your hair, do not rinse this away. The smell of vinegar will be gone soon.
5. You can now put in a little bit of mild conditioner, but let that also stay in your hair. Remember, just a little conditioner because you will not rinse this away.
6. Style, or put up your hair in curlers, or whatever you do to it.
My friends will not use any color or harsh chemicals on their hair, and they don't use hairspray either. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
Good Luck,
Janie
