Do you have a vending machine? Maybe you can get some nuts or granola instead, just to satisfy the craving?

Missy.....back away from the cookie dough ice cream......I REPEAT.....back away from the cookie dough ice cream......get some gum, have a huge drink of water, brush your teeth......You Can Do This!!! Think of it as a test, the craving will pass and you can feel soooooo very self rightous knowing that you said NO to cookie dough ice cream!!!

Perfect solution to that craving...take the tub of ice cream, stick it in the sink, remove lid, rev up the hot water, run hot water over tub, check on it in 10 minutes. Enjoy whatever is left!

You can't be tempted my something that is unaccessible!

Okay, I took a shower hoping it would pass. It didn't. so I opted for a handful of almonds and a glass of chocolate organic soymilk. Much better! The ice cream is still sitting by it's lonesome in the freezer. Guess what the kids are having when they get in from running around!

i don't know how you guys do it...i just don't have the will-power to avoid ice cream. it is by far my favorite food although i don't discriminate again any sweet food. you are a stronger woman than me...

I don't know if any of you ladies have "Sonic Drive-Thru" where you live, but they keep advertising this Cookie Dough Blast which is basically a chocoloate chip cookie dough blizzard with whipped cream! I can't stop thinking about it, but fortunately there are no Sonics on my way to and from work!

Be strong Missy! You'll be so happy you did. Just think of how much longer the awful feeling will last after you eat it.

You are right, Katie. Teh feeling of guilt is worse than the struggle with self-denial. I feel so great that I have let it pass! A month ago when others were doing the no-sugar challenge, I rolled my eyes and thought "yeah, right. Like that will work for me." Well, it does and it has! The cravings pass faster and faster the longer I go without. It is an awesome thing!

There is no Sonics near me, thank goodness! There is something about raw cookie dough that is just more delicious than the cookie itself. Probably because it is so bad for you!
