The winning Bake-Off recipe

So, this is what a winning recipe looks like. I was on the right track, but not quite inventive enough. The judges seemed to go for catchy names, and more innovation in the use of ingredients. A lot of the winning dessert recipes used cookie dough, which is what I did. I just have to keep plugging away....I have 1-1/2 year to come up with more recipes when they will accept entries for the next bake off.

And the winner is:

Honeybunch,
I'm not even going to look at the winner! I'm confident that you'll be a winner next time! You've put so much effort and creativity into your recipes that I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Now that you kind of know what the judges are looking for in a recipe, there will be no stopping you!
Good luck! Happy baking!

Debbie,
Oh, so lucky! Just a little more cardio on "testing" days and you'll be OK!

RE: Oh No!!!

Honeybunch,
The more I think about it, I'm really impressed with your baking. You know, I'm waxing rhapsodic about baking, but baking, especially creative baking makes me think of my Mom. That in itself is "enough said" and speaks volumes to me about who you are as a person. Your passion will come to fruition...give it time. Meanwhile, make Debbie nuts!

Believe it or not, this IS supposed to be a "light" recipe! That's the category under which it was entered. In the rules the prep process less cooking times was supposed to under 20 minutes, and I fail to see how this recipe could be made in that time. But it won, so I must be wrong. It was a real inventive way to use pizza dough.
