CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Cream together: 2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar

Add: 4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Mix together: 4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal, powdered (measure 5 cups then powder
in blender or food processor)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda

Mix all ingredients together (sometimes you have to get your hands right in there)

Add: 2 bags milk chocolate chips
1 8 oz grated chocolate bar

Optional: 3 cups chopped nuts

Roll into golf ball sized balls and place 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheets

Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

Makes 112 cookies (you can freeze the cookie dough balls and pull them out later to make cookies. Baking time increases for frozen cookies.

oh! I've made these. I made them for a party once. It's the chunked up chocolate bar that makes them so much more evil. I think this is a highly coveted Neaman Marcus recipe or something. I made these once and NEVER NEVER again LOL. They are TOOO good and last forever, even when you give half of them away.

Thanks for my email. I received yours and one from my DH asking if I could make cookies for 36 people for his Monday meeting. How ironic is that!?!:D

GIVE INTO YOUR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CRAVINGS AND YOUR JOURNEY TO THE DARK SIDE WILL BE COMPLETE!!!!

Hey, Star Wars is coming out soon;)

OH MY!! I forgot about these!!! I use to make these all the time. I remember this as being Mrs. Field's recipe or close to it. I just might have to make these for my students!;-)

Shelley!! You are truly wicked!! }(

Now join the ranks of your evil sister Dani (of Oreo Balls fame!!)

Geez...no wonder my family laughs at me every time I make something yummy and they ask me where I got the recipe. "Uh...from this fitness forum I read."

Yeah right.

:9 Thank for the recipe!

:) Nicole

That recipe is very similar to one that I use.If not exactly the same.
I usually put a few more things in mine like, left over easter bunnies, milk choc chips, semi sweet choc chips, white choc chips and peanut butter chips. Yep, all in the one batch and they are awesome
lori:)

WELL, I can see some of you weren't paying attention during the Christmas/New Year holidays!!

I made these to take to my parents for Christmas Day and everyone RAVED about them. Couldn't believe I made them (gee, thanks!) because they looked like store bought truffles (ok, that's not so bad!)

Give thanks and praise to Dani for sharing this with us!!

Here's my first attempt at posting a link. Hope it works!
