I can't understand why neighbors leave their dogs outside all day and night...the night thing gets to me, but I don't like to see dogs out in the rain or severe cold either. Anyhoo, I have a fan I use to drown out the noise, but fans don't last forever so mine is starting to make all this rackety noise like it is on it's "last leg" so I may hear the dog again, randomly barking at its shadow or something. It is so quiet here where I live, I can hear an entire conversation from across the road (usually politics LOL) so you can only imagine how loud a barking dog would be.

Oh, wow! I wish I had seen this thread earlier in the day--I needed a good place to vent, but can't get online at work.

The grunts in my office, for marking me late when I walked in the door all of 1-minute late. (Two lates and you lose a personal day.)

My office, for instituting that insulting policy, especially since we're expected to work all hours of the night AND weekends to get projects done--but heaven forbid we're ***$*$*#*#@!@$ 1-minute late.

My office, for turning up the AC on a 50-degree day until it's so cold that they probably will singlehandedly bring on a nuclear winter across the entire globe.

Anyone notice a trend here? x(

ok here is who drove me INSANE!!! was at home depot, got inline behind this couple, thought they were all done and checking out, wrong!!! turned out they held up the line for about 15 minutes while other members were still shopping, the come back and I thought they were done, NOPE!!! they left AGAIN to do MORE shopping!!! my back is killing me, can't stand for long periods of time without major back pain, but I stood there trying not to get upset at these people, they did this 5 times!!!! then they were finally done after nearly everyone in line behind them was upset!!! and they turned and looked at us all and laughed!!

I can't believe that Home Depot let that couple get away with holding up the line like that. You've got a lot more patience than I have--I would have complained and loudly, making more of a stink out of it than was probably necessary!

My husband who calls me when I'm right in the middle of steam cleaning the master bedroom to insist that I talk to him about his computer problem. Yes, all the while I am hearing him chew. YUCK!
I'm going to start charging him for fixing his computer:D

My 13 year old who swore up and down that he did not have any homework and then whipped out 3 pages just before we went to bed.:eek:
Mind you, they were easy, but still!

The contractor who is taking forever to fill out my permit packet to get my patio roof extended. It's been 3 weeks already.

The hospital billing dept, who send you a bill for $200 for a test covered by insurance, who tells you to call the insurance company and find out why they didn't pay it. The insurance company then tells you they paid it on April 13, which means you have to wait on hold with the billing office again to tell the them bill has been paid!

Will the fireworks be this weekend?

Charlotte, my co-worker has a neighbor who gets a dog and ties it out back, ignoring it for years. She rescued one a few years ago who now lives happily with her son. She found out last night that the neighbor will give her the second one, which she asked to have a month ago. Cross your fingers that the moron doesn't go out and get a third!

Nothing bothering me today...last night though that dog barked continuously. I turned on the fan. It rattled so I turned it off..dog still barking. Got up and shut the windows...then it was too hot. Turned the fan on again...could hear dog thru closed windows. Listen to the rattling of fan...better then the dogs bark. My hubby says I remind him of Goldilocks, but either way I didn't sleep soundly. Dog never barks during the day...sleeping, I would think. Must be nice.
