The Weekend Has Landed

All that exists now is clubs, pubs, drugs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk cod $h*t to strangers all night, I'm gonna lose the plot on the dancefloor. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man!

So, what's everyone else up to?}(

you mean besides working out LOL. i may go to the in=laws and preach exercise to them since some members are interested. won't be partying hard but i will be preaching the good word of workouts LOL.

Well I guess I am the boring one. I am just going to watch the snow fall...something we haven't had much of here. See and hear all the local folks freak out cuz around here 1 inch of snow is ALOT! I like the drama it all. It is amusing...should be quite pretty too to finially see some snow. If it is going to snow, no time like the weekend to do it. Probably go see a movie. DH and I don't scare too easily and will drive in any amount of snow just to do random things like go to the movies, restaurant, etc. LOL!

LET IT SNOW!!!!!

Charlotte~~

Tonight we're going to an awards dinner; DH is getting some sort of real estate award for making pots of money this year. :D I hope the food is good. I'm all about the food at these things. Tomorrow, nada, except maybe see my inlaws who are just back from vacation. It's supposed to snow like crazy Saturday night into Sunday, so I may be housebound til Sunday afternoon.

wow. what a thrilling list of activities. Is everyone asleep now? :D

Hey Charlotte, we finally got snow here last night as well. Only a couple inches but we have had so little this year that I am happy to see it.

I am not sure what I will be doing this weekend. I will play it by ear. I am however thinking of going and trying on some lucky jeans to see what all the hype is about.

Charlotte why don't you do all your walking lunges in the snow today :)

Shelley have fun tonight!

Terri

DH and I have no plans whatsoever. I'm sure we'll go out to dinner at least once over the weekend, but other than that, it's anybody's guess. We're expecting about an inch of snow tomorrow, so nothing to get excited about there.

Sparrow, congrats to your DH on his pot of gold!! How's your own house/land hunting going?

Michele:)

Hey Michele!

Terrible, but thanks for asking :D There's just nothing out there that fits our needs. But, with the spring coming maybe more people will be motivated to sell. Fingers crossed.

Sparrow,

My fingers AND toes are crossed. DH and I have been talking about moving, too, but it's not a good time for us to be uprooted. Our neighborhood is beginning to go downhill--the result of aggressive home building. Our neighborhood has become "transitional" and we're starting to see "FOR RENT" signs and a slight increase in crime. It's really disheartening.:-(

Sorry Shelley--I didn't mean to hijack your thread:eek:.

Michele

Shelley, you're cracking me up. And I would love to pit you and my DH against each other in a contest to see who can recite the most dialogue from a movie.

I'm going to SLEEP all weekend - I've been exercising HARD for 9 weeks, and I need to do some serious resting. That and eat donuts tomorrow!
Just Do It! :)

Shelley, since you have no objection, I'll continue the hijack :p

Michele, that's too bad about your neighborhood. It's so depressing when that happens. I've seen things really deteriorate here. It's always been transitional and for renters (which is why DH bought investment property here) but in the last three years it seems as if all the respectable people have left. We're actually talking about selling this property when we move. Frankly, federal and state fair housing laws make it almost impossible for us to control to whom we rent, so I have a feeling it's going to become a major pain in the patoot to manage rental properties when we live some distance away.

My brother and his family are coming over tomorrow - we'll probably talk about how peculiar my parents have gotten. (another thread) Sunday, my DD has a gymnastics competition, but we're supposed to be hit be a big Noreaster -- SNOW finally!

Terri,

Ha- Ha!!! Don't give me any ideas as I might just take you up on it. LOL! BTW, selling a pair of my Lucky Jeans on ebay next week. Can't wait for the snow to come~ Gosh, I got to get out of this house and get some more groceries!!!! Ta da.

Charlotte~~

Hoping the Georgia snow, yes Georgia snow, that has been on the ground for days will go away so I can hike the mountains w/o cold feet. Also, will be taking 2 munchikins/evil flying monkeys to rehearsal.

And Sunday is REST day from w/o.

I just remembered the opening ceremonies for the olympics airs tonight!!! I LOVE the olympics--especially the figure skating.

GO MICHELLE KWAN!!!!!
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Michele:)
