<--is back from making buckeyes
<--tells NTF that buckeyes are a cookie we make in Ohio...they are balls made from butter or margarine, powdered sugar and peanut butter. Then they are chilled and dipped in melted chocolate...YUM!!!

1 lb. margarine
2 lb. creamy peanut butter
3 lb. powdered sugar
Blend margarine and peanut butter well. Gradually add powdered sugar; final mixing needs to be done by hand. Form into balls and chill.
Stick a bamboo pick in the top center of a ball. Dip bottom half of each ball in the following which has been melted over low heat:
2 1/2 12-oz. bags chocolate chips
1/2 bar of paraffin
Put on waxed paper on cookie sheets. Can be frozen. (Put a drop of chocolate to cover the hole made by the pick.) Makes approximately 200 pieces.
