I can't tell you the last time my family went to a fast food restaurant, we just do not eat that junk.

Many children in my daycare do however VERY FREQUENTLY. That is scary what is going into their little bodies.

That was amazing, I've had way more McDonald's meals than I care to remember, but just watching this ensured there will be no more. Thanks for posting this, disturbing as it was!!! What a head-scratcher!

Although this seems alarming to see food do this, most foods once cooked will do the same thing if air dried whether they have preservatives in them or not.

I am going to do an experiment here at home similar to this vid's w/ the kids and see how it turns out. I am curious to see how my home-made from scratch/preservative free burger and fries will hold up against McD's. Anyone else want to try it and compare notes?

Trans fats are used to preserve food longer. Look at the expiration dates on Peter Pan peanut butter vs natural peanut butter.

My oldest boy wasn't surprised. He said he has McDonald fries in the seat of his car that old:7

Watch the DVD extras on "Supersize me": they do an experiment putting various McDonald's burgers, and fries, and some 'mom and pop' burgers and fries under glass domes and watching to see what happens. After a couple of weeks(?), the burgers and mom-and-pop fries look gross, but the McD fries look exactly the same. Scarey!
