The trouble with a cat

This is for the computer educated crowd. While I was surfing the site this morning my loving cat jumped on my lap for a cuddle. Sounds cute right?

Well the little darling then pounded the keys with her cute little cat feet and made all the writing on this site absolutely enormous!

I have no idea how to get it back to a normal size type.
Any ideas?

Karen

I'll keep this short as it's probably really big. Maybe turn the cat loose on the keys again and it will correct itself??? I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for you, I just got an incredible kick out of reading it. Thanks for the giggle and hope you get this resolved.

I'll bet Cathe's muscles REALLY look big on the home page now, he-he still LOL.

Check your browser's preferences. She must have hit a keyboard sequence that changed the font display. That's pretty weird.

If you have Internet Explorer, try going to View, then Text Size. Change size to one that suits you better.

Hope this works for you,
Shari

If none of the other suggestions work, go to your desktop and place your curser in the open space (not on the icons). Right click. Go to properties and click. A box will pop up that says "Display Properties." Click on "Settings." Adjust the "Screen Area" so that your fonts (pixels) are smaller. Good luck.

Thank you Thank you Thank you

I went to view and then text size and smaller. The little critter had obviously touched a set of keys to make it the largest. I knew that after hitting 40 my eyesight was getting bad but this was just plain silly.

On the bright side I was thinking I might have a cat that has exceptional abilities. Perhaps a think tank in Toronto for cats is the next step. I may have the next einsteinkitty!(obviously the master is not the genius in this family)

Hey fellow Torontonian!

Hey Karen:

I'm from Toronto, too! Right now I'm at "work" (har-har!) at King and Simcoe Street, right across from the Roy Thompson concert hall.

I live in the "upper beaches" in the east end, Kingston Road and Main.

Hope you don't mind me asking but whereabouts are you?

Patricia

P.S. I have cats too. Fortunately, they'll never get within miles of my keyboard 'cause I don't have a home computer. But I do wish they'd stop changing the TV channels!

RE: Hey fellow Torontonian!

Hi Patricia:

I use to live in Toronto when I was a kid but moved to the big city of Peterborough when I got married. We are only an hour from TO and still shop there!

RE: Hey Karen!

Peterborough, huh?

I went to Trent University for three years. This was more than 25 years ago (oh gosh, I'm getting old -- where did the time go?!). Anyways, I lived in residence on the Lady Eaton campus, which was for women only. Wonder if it still is?

My niece Rachel is going to school there now.
