The "this is me challege" and what it's done for me

Well, i've taken time to look at each and every one of your pics and picturetrail albums. You are a very fit and beautiful group.
You have inspired me to get serious about my diet.
I have a hard time eating "clean". I work in an environment where lunch and goodies are sent in daily and i have a hard time resisting.
Now, mind you, I'm not overweight, i work out regularly and usually wear a size 4-6. However, I'm jiggly in the middle. I would never wear a bikini. I attribute my lack of "abs" on my diet and happy hour (another work related problem}( )

You ladies look so great, and the abs!!! Cathe and her crew have nothing on you ladies!!

You've all made me look at myself and realize it's time to get serious. I'm taking pics this weekend to post and add to the challenge.

RE: The

wendyjpa-I'm with you! I don't know how to upload the pictures yet or how to create a picture trail, but I do have a digital camera and know how to do THAT part at least. LOL.

It sounds a lot like me (minus the happy hour...not enough money for that..,LOL). I workout 6 days a week, eat very well MOST of the time, and usually wear a 4 or 6 comfortably. I am getting serious too!

I have an injurred left wrist and have to wear a brace for another week and a half so that means NO lifting weights in that hand at all. But...once it's off...LOOK OUT! My goals are to get better-defined arms (love the way my shoulders are coming together) and abs (starting to see a 4 pack at least).

I am amazed, too, at how good all of you look. Thanks for sharing your pictures and thanks for motivating me.

NOW...someone is going to have to help me with the picture and picture trail thingy!

I agree!! I just looked at that post and everybody is so fit and beautiful. I have been getting pretty stict on the diet these past few weeks. I am gonna be 30 this summer and would like to be in the best shape of my life:)

I am gonna post some pics this weekend hopefully. It's so great to have this place it's kinda like having a virtual gym!!!

This is EXACTLY where I was recently and I had been there a LOOOOONG time. As soon as I got totally serious (only about 6 weeks ago) the "jiggly" fat started to melt away.

"Serious" for me is journaling every workout and everything I eat. Everything. It means eating very clean, doing Cathe's workouts in a much more deliberate way than before, and drinking lots of water.

I just bought a bikini and it was so great to actually be happy trying on swim suits ... finally!

You can so do this. You absolutely can. :D

RE: The

Well Marla, after looking at your pics and reading your post, i am inspired to do what you are doing. You look super in your pics, on the stability ball you look like one of Cathe's crew :)

Bye Bye pizza, bye bye spaghetti, bye bye beer :-( :-(
My abs need me more:D

RE: The

Yes, Marla looks like one of the Cathe crew, for sure! I am working on trying to stabilize that stability ball. When I first seen Cathe do something like that, I thought she was completely insane! LOL.
Good for you, Marla...so inspiriing!
