Wow, I am impressed. I have never made it through a shower, BD party, etc. I went to a graduation party yesterday and it was my intention not to have the cake, but.... well.... I didn't join this challenge until last night when I really fell off the wagon after I got home from the party.... I thought this challenge would help keep me in line. So far so good today.....

I'm feeling pretty strong today, and so far no cravings for any sweets. Yippie! However, tonight is family dinner at my parent's and there's bound to be some kind of dessert. I had Mom buy some organic strawberries yesterday, so I'm planning on having some with just a bit of lite whipped cream. I don't think she's got any angel food cake or pound cake, so that will eliminate that temptation.

I'm going to focus on working up a craving for those strawberries and blocking out everything else....I'll let you know how it goes. :9

Shelley- have you tried the new diet coke with splenda? I haven't had a regular soda for awhile, but I think this new stuff tastes remarkably like the real thing. Until this stuff came out I drank diet rite, also made with splenda.

Let's keep our vibes of strength flowing for each other!! We can do this!

Another accomplished day for me...but man oh man am I eating A LOT of fruit! I guess that is a good change for me, as I barely eat fruit other than banana in my Fiber 1 cereal every morning.

First of all, happy birthday Mattea! and Shelley YOU...ARE...KI...LLING...ME....

I've been pretty much at my desk all day reading and doing some work and when I finally got out (because I had to get ready to do Muscle Max) I opened the fridge and there it was.....my favorite flavor of ice cream, Edy's vanilla bean (full fat, full calories full everything!!!), and I saw some new caramels in the candy bowl (the ones that have a creamy center oh man!!!). Talk about willpower, you know what I did? I read the labels. 3 tiny caramels have 13g of sugar and 1/2 cup of ice cream has 15g so I took a deep breath and ignored both. I know that if I have a taste I will crave more of it so it was a wise decision.

Well, another day down and 24 to go!

I'm doing fine on the sweets, but I did have to get rid of the popcorn. Man, I've just been scarfing that stuff down! Even though it was Orvilles Smart Pop, I've been eating too many bags all to myself. I'll sit down with a bowl and a book and next thing I know BAM somebody's eaten all my popcorn--how rude. So I finally decided to throw the stuff out!

On to day 6! Forward HO!
