RE: The
I made it thru the day w/ "0" sugar and "0" baddies (except for the pizza I had for supper which was not a huge dietary sin for me since I had only a protein shake for breakfast and tuna on whole wheat for lunch). Later on my DH tossed me a jaw breaker sized fireball but I tossed it back responding "No sugar June". He ate it. People think it's absurd that I would refrain from sugar for the health benefits and the exercise in self-discipline. I don't even bother to explain except to say I'm doing it for "the fun of it" and they're all like, "Oh, that's fun?" *sly grin crosses my face*
I love making people wonder why I pump iron 5-6x a week, do cardio 2-3x a week and adhere to a relatively restricted (by most people's standard) diet. I love being an enigma. Ain't it great when you "know, what you know"?!?! And the funny part is they "know", too, but they're just not willing to give what it takes!
A big, huge "You go girl!" to those of your resisting the never-ending bombardment at baby & bridal showers, birthday, anniversary and graduation parties. Make everybody wonder about you....just say "no" to baddies. YOU CAN DO IT!!
