I wanted to see if we could get a thread going with some of our favorite modifications for some of the exercises that might be a little out of our league for whatever reason..
These are a couple of modifications I have found that have worked for me...
For leg presses, I can't do these sometimes because of balance issues....Place a 5 lb. ankle weight around the working leg, from a lying position, with the non-working leg bent..Raise the working leg and hold for a 5-count, lower and repeat. Just remember what you do to one side.....do however many reps you like, I usually do 3 sets of 8 per leg....just remember...what you do to one side....
Another one is a sumo-squat front kick in place of sequential power kicks if you don't want all that jumping...somedays I can handle it, others no way.
