The many uses for a step!

As a desk. I'm not kidding - it works great! I have nerve problems in both elbows, and it's difficult for me to find a comfortable position to sit at my laptop at home. I just put a cushion on the floor and then put my step, at a 10-inch hight, over my lap. It's the exact level I need, and lots more comfortable than sitting at my desk.

I also use my step for other than just aerobics. I use it at my desk to prop up my feet so my back is more comfortable while I am sitting. I worked a puzzle on it once. I use it to step on to reach stuff on the top shelf.

My kids have all used my old step as a stepstool to reach the sink for handwashing and brushing their teeth.

My 3 year old daughter uses my step as her "stage" and performs for us.

Not so much this step, but the old Firm steps. I have the old wood steps from the Frim in heights of 4, 10, and 14 inches. I used to have a water bed that sat on 2 sets of drawers which made it quite high. I had 3 kids and each one was a c-section, which made it impossible to climb up into the bed post-op. So I built a small staircase with those steps. Made getting into and out of that bed for those infant feedings much less painful!
