The Downside of 2 Road Trips

Does anyone else wish Cathe had a bigger club so we could all attend the same Road Trip? Seeing who got in today was bittersweet. I am so excited for y’all but a little sad because I would love to meet for the first time or see again the August Road Trippers. Have a blast and take plenty of pictures for us! I will leave a bunch of Heather hugs for y’all with Cathe and the coordinators in July.

I cheered myself up by reviewing the list of fun forum members who will be celebrating with me in July!

P.S. If the STS guys show up in July, we will try not to wear them out. ;-) Well, I will be good. I cannot make any promises for Gayle, Shelley, Emily, Allison, and some of the other July Road Trippers. ;-)

I thought for sure that YOU would be the first to sign up for BOTH RTs!! I do know what you mean, though. I will miss seeing the August RTers and meeting some new friends then. They will just have to posts lots of pics for us.

We're not ALLOWED to sign up for both RTs, or I bet some would be tempted!

I feel the same Heather. Most of the OAL will be on the August trip and I'm sure going to miss meeting them/seeing them again.

I almost didn't sign up for August because all the peeps that I "know" or met at last years RT are going in July. But then DH reminded me that I didn't really "know" anyone when I went to last years and he's right.

It's a good opportunity to meet some new people, so I'm glad I signed up!

Hiya, Heather.

Not attending at all this year but I remember when Cathe was considering '08 RT plans last last year she had thought of renting out a larger venue to host say 300 people for one big weekend instaed of having 2 trips. But with the former, the (already limited) time she'd have for taking one-to-one photos and chats (or one-armed push-up competitions }() would be even further reduced. To quote a famous Hobbitt, she'd be like butter spread thinly over too much bread

Of course it's a missed opportunity to meet some new folks/see familiar ones, but there's always '09!! Have fun...
